I am looking for assertive Project Managers who have the ability to work on tight timelines and who do best under pressure. It is expected that the candidate will be a savvy leader and have the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and all phases of the project. The first project that this person will be covering will be a Windows 7 upgrade, among many other infrastructure and Application Development projects. Person must have experience in this area and heave SDLC.
My ideal candidate will have 10+ consecutive years as a Senior Project Manager and experience in a professional setting (preferably financial services or insurance) doing the following:
*Managing large budgets of over $1 million. This includes: Earned Value/Actual Cost, Trend Analysis, Cost Process, Manual Forecasting, Variance, Cost Control, Resource and hour cost, etc
*Managing Risk on large projects. This includes: Qualitative Risk, Risk Response plan, Risk breakdown structure, Risk documents, Risk Planning and mitigation, Positive risk, negative risk, Risk probability and analysis, etc
*Manage large teams in a Matrix environment
*Experience with the management of every aspect of a project that impacts administration platform will need to be managed including stakeholders, budget, scope, scheduling, resource planning, requirements gathering, solution definition, system setup and monitoring after go live, risks/issues planning, prioritization of sub projects under the program, identifying dependencies, roles identification, and communication.
*Strong sense of urgency and be able to plan and deliver high quality deliverables in a fast paced environment while developing and maintaining a friendly, educational, supportive environment with a focus on customer's needs
These are initially 12 month contracts and are located in Shelton, CT.
