| QA Manager/Lead- NYC $125-135 + bonus eligible Must have Agile; must be strategic- decide what has to be done and then do it; prefer global experience; prefer offshore-onshore experience; experience with moving from manual to automated testing; has managed; is thick skinned; As a Quality Assurance Lead, your responsibilities will include the following: - Lead the staff in the analysis, design, and implementation of new or modified QA procedures and standards. - Develop QA metrics for assessing the quality of newly developed testing. - Provide technical expertise to IT management and staff regarding the design and implementation of QA processes with or without software additions. - Conduct analysis of current software process practices. - Document proposed practices and testing improvements. - Mentor teams in proper methods. - Develop QA guidelines, schedules, and reports. - Conduct QA audits. - Provide input into the development of overall QA plans and timetables. - Provide technical support and training to the QA staff and assist the Manager in the review and evaluation of the work of the staff. 5-10 years experience. - College degree required. - Supervise and provide technical guidance to the staff in the analysis, design, and execution of effective QA audits, procedures, and processes in support of corporate and client area information systems requirements. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JACK SCHWARTZ is the Managing Director of Staffing at ITech Recruiting LLC.
