Title: Manager - End User and Site Support
Location: Rockville, MD
Salary: $115K to $135K plus 10-15% bonus
Overview
Our client is seeking an individual who will manage the End User Support
function team that is responsible for the following functions and
responsibilities:
* Management of the vendor's Service Level Agreement (SLA)
performance.
* Collaborate with vendor to ensure appropriate responses to outages,
impact of new rollouts and other call volume generators to the Help Desk and
Site Support.
* Collaborate with vendor and peers across IT and all Business Areas
to address support priorities and complex cross-functional issues.
* Work with Application teams to align common processes and vendor
management approach
* Utilize modeling tools and analyze historical data to predict usage
trends to enable the vendor to manage their staff needs
* Coordinate End User Support Business Continuity and Crisis
Management activities to ensure readiness
Required Skills and Qualifications
* BS Information Technology
* Writing new ITIL and best practicing operational procedure and
implementing them.
* ITIL v3 Certification preferred
* At least 6 years of IT Experience
* Considerable knowledge and ability to collaborate effectively
between all levels of Leadership, and business constituents
* Experience identifying and assessing business process controls and
linkage to IT systems
* Knowledge of information technology general controls concepts in the
areas of systems development, change management, problem management and
experience in appropriately applying internal control principles
* Experience auditing internal controls and evaluating internal
control deficiencies
* Offshore vendor management experience
* Demonstrated ability to provide relevant, accurate and up to date
information
* Demonstrated ability to promote use of collaboration tools like
Sametime, Remote Control, and team databases
* Experience and ability to enhance communications between teams using
personal exchanges, teleconferences, and video conference

Job Description
Our client is seeking a Network Architect to plan and develop the network
architecture for the global network through gathering requirements and
creating a clear technical plan and roadmap. The successful candidate will
interface with key IT figures within multiple business units gathering their
requirements and understanding the business objectives. The individual will
devise, develop, and implement documented designs including detailed
technical schematics. Excellent research and presentation skills are
essential for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
. Knowledge of Juniper architecture such as SRX /MX/EX Series is a
must
. Thorough knowledge of global peering and design of global internet
connected IP networks
. Demonstrable experience in dealing with Internet Registries such
as RIPE and APNIC
. Thorough understanding of BGP and IGPs such as OSPF
. Understanding of MPLS
. Understanding of design best practices in routing, switching and
security
. Proven track record of delivering extremely scalable, high
performance IP based networks on both a regional and global scale.

Assistant Treasurer – Global Treasury
The McGraw-Hill Companies is seeking an experienced treasury professional to become the next Assistant Treasurer – Global Treasury located in New York City. The Assistant Treasurer will have a critical role in the treasury activities of the company with a global scope of responsibilities. The successful candidate will have responsibility for strategic and operational cash positioning, borrowing, investments, cash disbursements, foreign exchange and global banking systems. Provide leadership to collaborate with and manage the department's internal business partnerships with tax, accounting, legal, and with domestic/international business operating segments and external banks and financial institutions. The position has three direct reports and will report to the Treasurer.
Key Accountabilities:
* Develop financial management tools to forecast the company's global cash and net debt positions and to analyze global cash flows and overall liquidity position
* Provide thought leadership and develop a robust strategy to optimize the use of cash worldwide to maximize interest income and minimize interest expense
* Lead collaboration with (EMEA, APAC and LATAM) regions and departments including corporate planning, tax, accounting, legal
* Oversee and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions as well as identify, evaluate and recommend changes to those institutions as needed in conjunction with the treasurer
* Provide thought leadership in evaluating current processes and recommending best practices for department initiatives to support business segment activities
* Monitor and manage external bank account usage and make recommendations on overall banking structures including closing and opening of accounts
* Provide oversight of reporting and analysis of treasury-related operating results including monthly and quarterly financial statement reporting and reporting to the Board of Directors
* Ownership of internal controls and SOX requirements related to cash, debt and equity management
* Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures and recommend potential mitigation strategies
* Manage intercompany transactions including intercompany funding, investment and repatriation transactions
* Provide strategic oversight of cash management including a focus on appropriate cash mobilization and projects to optimize cash flow, efficiency, and recommending and executing improvements to current processes
* Assure effective management of cash including daily receipts, disbursements, transfers of funds, and information reporting
* Analyze bid proposals from banks and third party for services with treasurer and recommend actions to be taken.
* Support global corporate business needs in trade finance and letters of credit
* Ownership and oversight for annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics from an accredited institution
· MBA, CTP or CPA preferred
· 10 – 15 years of successful experience in progressively more responsible financial roles
· Experience in corporate treasury or finance functions with specific skills in global cash management, foreign currency hedging, global cash forecasting and risk management including minimum 5 years international treasury experience
· Excellent interpersonal and written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated expertise in the areas of corporate finance, foreign exchange and global cash management.
· Experience managing foreign exchange exposures and designing methodologies to minimize risk
· Excellent analytical capabilities with previous experience using advanced analytic and finance tools
· Demonstrated experience with global oversight and management of international treasury centers and intercompany funding processes
· Ability to represent and negotiate on behalf of the company in a credible manner with banks and other financial institutions
