of the Psychiatric Department. As a Hospital Psychiatric Nurse Manager with Bayonne Medical Center ,
you will report to Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services, supervise
Psychiatric Department Staff, and collaborate with Physicians to coordinate Acute
Behavioral Health Services for patients and families. You will deliver care in
a manner that appropriately utilizes resources. You will also address conflicts
on the unit privately and confidentially.
Tasks include:
· Coordinating
the nursing portion of the Behavioral Health Quality Improvement program
· Keeping
the SVP of Patient Care Services advised of complaints and problems, referring
unusual events to the appropriate departments.
· Ensuring
adequate staff scheduling, support re-employment of staff, assure that staff
functions to the maximum level of their licensure/practice, and interview and
hire nursing staff
