I am actively recruiting to fill this role with
a client that is a boutique IT Security, governance and risk management
firm in NYC
This is a FTE permanent role for someone to provide support
to area clients onsite Target Salary is $90K
Security Consultant
Lead a team of IT auditors to conduct IT General Controls audits
in a variety of regulations. This includes conducting PCI Reports on
Compliance, annual bank audits for financial institutions, evaluating controls
in Hospitals, Utilities, or Government organizations. The Security Consultant
must be able to lead assessments of clients overall security preparedness by
conducting tests to evaluate what a hacker or insider might be able to do to an
organizations network and review applications to assess weaknesses in their
design, operations, or integration to frameworks such as OWASP.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or higher
CISA or CISSP (required)
QSA or PA-QSA (preferred)
Other Industry certifications (such as MCSD, MCSE, CCNA,
etc.)
At least 5-7 years of experience in information security
related disciplines
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience with regulations and frameworks (COBIT, ISO,
GLBA, PCI, etc.)
Willing to travel 50% or more
Strong client interaction and business development
experience
