- Experience with Solaris, and Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with network and operating systems security.
- Experience with Firewall and IDS/IPS security appliances
- Experience with TCP/IP protocols and traffic flow
- Experience with network traffic event logs and monitoring and auditing of security event logs.
- Experience in administration, troubleshooting and maintaining ArcSight and Tripwire or similar appliances
- Experience with enterprise patch management, vulnerability management
- Experience with running enterprise wide Vulnerability scans through industry standard tools.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
DESCRIPTION: Provide Senior Level Information Security SME in support of a 30+M annual contract (5 year deal, renewal due Jan 2013), with 160 geographically dispersed resources. This position is required per contract of Core Services to promote and support information security compliance in accordance with the company and client security standards. This position will serve as TWAI Information Security manager and will help ensure that we meet service level agreements with our client as they relate to security. Services or Detailed Task/Work Requirements - Provide security engineering designs, implementation and support in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering.
- Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle
- Validate system security requirements definition and analysis
- Establish system security designs
- Implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures
- Verify security requirements
- Perform system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities
- Support secure systems operations and maintenance
- Provide mitigation and troubleshooting suggestions to other segments of the network
- Understand deployment and system design of each security component in the infrastructure to help provide troubleshooting and implementation procedures
- Provide advanced-level security incident investigation support
- Able to configure custom-defined rules and signatures to meet the specific security needs of the network.
