Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking a Business System Analyst.
 
Location: Pennington, NJ 
Position: Contract
  
Job Description:

MUST have Recent/Sufficient Wealth Management Experience.
Asset allocation, financial planning, retirement planning, education planning, stock option analysis, etc..Experience in one of these areas is a MUST.
Seeking an experienced systems analyst on the technology side (not on the business side) who has extensive experience writing technical specifications.
This systems analyst will be the liason between our business partners and and technology development teams, and will interact with different levels of users to define business and functional requirements.
Financial services and wealth management background is highly preferred.
Prior Brokerage experience is highly preferred.
This systems analyst will be responsible for the following:

Writing functional and non-functional specifications for wealth management applications from a technology perspective. The requirements analysis and specifications will cover different application components as follows:
User interfaces (UI) with granular details to the smallest level including data mapping, validation rules, creating GUI wireframes, and Powerpoint based prototypes
Analytic logic flowcharts, UML diagrams like data flow diagram, process flow diagrams, and use cases.
Specifications for dynamically created client facing reports that includes charting, tables, and conditional rules for report presentation.
Creating data definitions and constructing data models.
Coordinating and conducting requirements analysis meetings with business and technology partners.
Providing and recommending alternative methods of implementation or presentation to best meet the clients' needs, and to provide user-friendly solutions.
Document, follow-up and resolve issues related to each assigned project.
Providing software development support including testing preparation and hands-on testing.
Required Skills:

Visio, Rational tools, data modeling tools, UML, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to identify issues, requirements analysis follow through and writing detailed technical specifications for business users, technology development teams, and testing teams.
Ability to interact with multiple business and technology partners in a leadership capacity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidate should have Wealth Management domain knowledge.
Prior project management experience required - in order to handle components of projects independently and in a lead capacity.

Business Analyst for Speakers Bureau Web Application
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include supporting the speaker program event planning and management web enabled platform from a business perspective
Main responsibilities
·         Gain and maintain expert level knowledge of PW applications, configuration capabilities and business processes
·         Assist with  configuring software application for client(s) including uploading client information and defining business rules, inputting, and maintaining  data base       
·         Assist in ensuring efficiencies in the Business Operations, including changes to data, password requests, configuration realignments
·         Educating Business Operations on software application functionality
·         Assist with recommendations to the business operations to better leverage application functionality to drive efficiencies
·         Recommend web application usability best practices
·         Evaluate functionality and usability
Additional Responsibilities
·         Work with IT in requirement gathering and definition
·         Answer questions from software development  team regarding documented requirements
·         Assist in walkthrough sessions with software development team, including internal and external partners
·         Identify, reproduce and log system defects
·         Validate fixed defects and test application from end to end                                          
·         Assist with the deployment of the application to clients
Conduct detailed data analysis from application data tables
·         Update reference tables in support of nightly XML data exchange
Overtime and some travel are required.                                                                                
SKILLS                                                                                                                      
Minimum of 3 years of medical education experience. Previous experience with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Must be a service oriented, self-starter.  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and web applications are necessary, expert Excel skills required.  Professional demeanor essential.  College degree preferred.
Candidates will posess:

â€"Ability to interface well with business and IT teams                                                
â€"Deep business expertise as it relates to web application: what it does, why it does it, where it’s headed

â€"In-depth experience in nuances of business rules and operations of a Speakers Bureau
