The Finance Strategy and Transformation Managing Consultant will provide
finance and accounting strategy as well as process and information content
consulting services to Industrial clients; including companies in the
automotive, aerospace/defense, electronics, and chemical/petroleum
industries. In addition, they will focus on finance processes including
management reporting and analytics, planning and forecasting, procure to
pay, order to cash, general and project accounting.

A Managing Consultant also works with clients to improve their business in
the following areas:

· key transactional finance processes

· management reporting and analytics

· planning and forecasting

· procure to pay

· order to cash

· general and project accounting

Typical activities include:

· defining finance strategy/vision for a Finance Operating Model including
the optimization of *transactional processing shared service operations or
outsourcing operations

· benchmarking finance processes and identifying improvements and related
benefits (i.e. business case)

· developing finance transformation strategy, specifically analysis of
"as-is" versus "leading practices"

· identification of overall transformation plan

· improving accounting close and consolidation processes including analysis
of journal entries and plans for accelerated close

· transforming financial reporting processes including the identification
of key information requirements and associated reporting and analytics model

· planning and forecasting optimization by leveraging leading practice
techniques.

It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting
distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA;
Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH;
Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston,

Consumer Insights Manager

Maidenform, a global intimate apparel manufacturer, is recruiting a Consumer
Insights Manager to lead divisional efforts in monitoring and analyzing the
marketplace in order to proactively find new opportunities and anticipate
potential adjustments to our strategy. Additionally, serve as a thought
leader on the state and future of our market to both internal and external
audiences. The Consumer Insights Manager will track industry, technology and
customer trends, develop future market scenarios, manage the views of our
opportunity and competitive landscapes, and drive competitive strategy
development.

The Consumer Insights Manager will report directly to the Vice President of
New Business Development, and be based at our Midtown office in New York.

Key responsibilities include:

* Work with the Marketing, Business Development and Sales teams to
develop strategies to help achieve sales volume and market share goals
* Act as liaison between the Market Research, Marketing and Sales
teams to ensure a consistent approach is used to reach targeted consumers
* Assist in establishing short and long term sales and market
penetration goals consistent with business objectives
* Analyze the consumption barriers, preferred occasions, channel
preferences, brand drivers and brand perceptions of targeted markets to
develop consumer insights needed to identify potential new business
opportunities
* Use consumer insights to assist in the prioritization of budgeting
and spending of new business initiatives
* Develop and use internal and external partnerships and networks to
support the achievement of the business goals intended for targeted
consumers
* Provide consumer insights to assist in tailoring product offerings
and identifying the product needed at retail locations to meet consumers'
needs
* Work with marketing team to ensure communications and promotions are
properly scaled to target consumers on a national and regional level
* Coordinate work of internal and external research, media, strategy,
merchandising, and online providers to ensure promotions match the targeted
consumers' selection behaviors

Basic Qualifications:

* College degree (BA/BS); MBA preferred
* 5+ years experience in market research (retail, venture capital, or
management consulting)
* Strong knowledge/ability to interpret Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI,
Spectra, NPD etc)
* Proven ability for future thinking and scenario development
* Demonstrated experience in delivering market intelligence products
to executive audiences
* Deep market and competitive analysis skill set
* Strong quantitative skills

You will play a key role in the managing all projects while providing an effective project and programme delivery capability to ensure the completion of medium to complex size projects on time and on budget in our growing suite of Java-based international banking products.

Key Responsibilities:
·         Provide an effective project and programme delivery capability to ensure the completion of medium to complex size projects
·         Perform continuous improvement and changes to programme and project management practices, conducts post-implementation reviews and initiates improvement to organization practices.
·         Manage budgets and targets for delivery projects, providing accurate and timely information.
·         Plan, direct and coordinate activities to manage and implement projects from contract/proposal initiation to final and post production operations.
·         Manage the development, testing & technical implementation groups of the Trade Finance product.

General description

The candidate will be developing exciting new enhancements to our suite of Java-based international banking products.  Strong Java / J2ee and Spring framework are needed. Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies such as Spring Webflow, Spring MVC and other Spring technologies. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies will be a plus. Experience with Flash/Flex technologies will be a plus. Strong knowledge of methodology, tools, standards and procedures.
