>Principal Responsibilities:
>• Provides technical assistance for a number of platforms, during issues and/or outages. Areas to include but are not limited to Mainframe and Distributed business applications, operating systems, hardware components and the network infrastructure.
>• Assists in identifying and implementing process and processing improvements for a number of operational, development and support teams.
>• Performs basic programming/scripting in the distributed environments
>• Composes and reviews documentation supporting operational processes and service restoration.
>• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications in the WebSphere Application Server and Portal environments

>Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Desired:

CCS seeks an Onsite Academic Advisor to support our program. The Advisor provides coordination of on-site corporate degree completion programs, lends support to instructors, offers student advising and workshops. The Onsite Advisor is responsible for creating an atmosphere to ensure student recruitment, retention, and degree completion.  Internally, the Advisor works in a team relationship with other advisors and supports staff to assure quality.  The Advisor must have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and computer skills and be a team player.  Position requires out of state travel, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.  This is a career track position.
 
Responsibilities:
·        Coordinate onsite activities at client locations in NJ, PA and CT.
·        Promote quality adult learning practices and principles.  Prepare timely and accurate reports on student attendance, participation, etc.
·        Advise students on setting and obtaining career and academic goals.
·        Support student activity, recruitment and retention.  Promote leadership concepts to students through advising, onsite visitation and information meetings.
·        Provide academic services including student transcript evaluation, conducting workshops, and maintaining student files.
·        Maintain onsite corporate advising activities as scheduled.  Advise students on a regular basis to support and direct degree completion.
·        Participate in annual college commencement ceremonies.
·        Coordinate logistics for annual student events.
 
Qualifications:
·        Strong Microsoft Office skills
·        Positive "can do" attitude, resourceful
·        Strong organizational and project management skills
·        Good presentation skills
·        Commitment to adult-centered learning precepts
·        Excellent writing and listening skills
·        Promotable
 
Credentials:
·        Bachelor degree required, MS/MBA preferred
·        Experience with academic advising, adult learning precepts
·        5-7 years business experience
