As the up-and-coming vice president and CEO candidate for a Fortune 500
technology corporation sat before the CEO for his annual review, he was
baffled to discover that the feedback from his peers, customers, direct
reports, and particularly from board members placed unusual emphasis on one
potentially devastating problem: his listening deficit. This executive was

• Detailed knowledge of Middle Office & Trade Operations functions would be extremely useful. Ideally, should be conversant with Trade Flow lifecycles in any asset class or cross products.
• Must have core data analysis & presentation skills. Should be an expert in analyzing large databases using MS Access, Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, Oracle or other Database tools. Knowledge of BI tools would be beneficial. Reporting skills should be exceptional.
• Data modeling in both traditional DBMS & OLAP is an important element of this job.
• Should have excellent Excel, Access & SQL skills
• Should have knowledge of Systems Architecture (functional perspective) and have an eye for –engineering opportunities.
• Should be able to translate requirements into BRDs, Storyboards and be able to lead a small team of analysts onsite/offshore towards quick completion of important deliverables.
• Should have a trail of being a sharp thinker and be able to turn around adhoc reporting needs quickly. Must be highly detail oriented. Should have an eye for data patterns.
• Superior Project Management & coordination skills would help.
