Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead product development in our dynamic, entrepreneurial start-up environment. This is a mature 5 year old adtech startup backed by the top VC¹s. The Director, Product will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle from ideation through post-release support. This person will oversee the Product and QA teams to ensure delivery is consistent with product vision. He or she will have a significant influence on the product roadmap and will be expected to contribute to our overall product strategy.
The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, management, and communication skills with the experience to surpass challenges via critical thinking and innovation. This person thrives as the hub in a fast-moving technical environment. Experience with streaming and/or ad networks is strongly desired.
Key Responsibilities
€ Manage the entire product lifecycle for strategic planning, product specifications, prioritization, design, quality assurance, and maintenance
€ Collaborate daily with engineers and other technical staff to ensure product goals are met
€ Manage the Product and the QA teams to produce consistent high-quality features
€ Develop PRD¹s (Product Requirements Document) for product/solutions portfolio
€ Analyze competitive offerings
€ Influence and collaborate with key members throughout the organization on both strategic and tactical initiatives
€ Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, engineering and the market
€ Intelligently prioritize a continuous list of business initiatives
€ Communicate product expectations with the Engineering, Product, and QA departments
€ Become the in-house expert on other products in the marketplace

Requirements
€ A minimum of five years of Product Management experience
€ Strong managerial skills with experience managing small teams.
€ Superb verbal and written communication skills
€ Solid understanding of standard web architecture, terms, and processes
€ Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
€ Experience with streaming audio and/or ad networks is a strong plus
€ "Roll-up-your-sleeves'' entrepreneurial, startup attitude
€ Ability to work with internal staff and external customers to find solutions for their challenges.
Salary: 100-120k Base
