Sr. Associate – Business Operations Support (aka Vendor Management)
Can hire in NYC, Philadelphia, Wilmington or Berkley Heights
Salary, 100-120k with bonus
Responsibilities:
Drive a variety of division-wide vendor management office initiatives using corporate resources and guidelines to ensure the highest quality supply chain
Collaborate with business units and functional groups to enhance vendor management practices including evaluation, monitoring, pricing & quality.
Work with AVP and VP of Operations Business Support to perform ongoing vendor risk assessments and recommend corrective action plans for significant risks.
Ability to review and analyze data to determine cost savings opportunities through vendor consolidation and/or contract renegotiations.
Analyze business unit supplier relationships to recognize areas that require improvement and make recommendations for efficiencies or improvements
Measure vendor performance against contract SLAs and business/corporate expectations
Provide business with approved sourcing tools, processes, and knowledge to qualify vendors and manage vendor relationships
Drive supplier review meetings with key suppliers and business leaders to provide input on performance and future needs/strategic planning
Skills Required:
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal customers / clients as well as vendors
Ability to work under pressure while dealing with changing priorities and timeline
Highly effective interpersonal and technical skills necessary to obtain continued support from internal clients
3+ years experience with Strategic Sourcing or Vendor Management
4 year college degree or equivalent experience
