Job Description:
Title: Compliance Coordinator
Length of Contract: 5 months, Permanent employment is possible but not guaranteed
Location: Princeton NJ 08540
Pay Rate: Is not given
W2 candidates only. No Corp to Corp
The Compliance Coordinator assists the Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Compliance Department in coordinating and driving all aspects of the compliance and security programs.
Major Accountabilities:
* Help coordinate and drive the timely and efficient functioning of the Corporate Compliance Committee and NA Security Council (e.g., ensure all materials are on time and ready for Committee review, take minutes at Committee meetings, have compliance officer sign minutes and upload into records management system).
* Help drive the timely completion of compliance department objectives and deliverables by monitoring and documenting the completion of those deliverables on the compliance department dashboard.
* Help ensure that all program materials generated by all members of the compliance department are timely and properly uploaded to the records management system.
* Assist compliance department team members in the completion of their projects (e.g., preparation of presentations and training materials, conducting research on legal and compliance related issues, assisting with meetings and follow-up).
Behavioral Qualifications
* Detail-oriented, high-energy, and self-sufficient – driving projects to completion independently with the utmost integrity.
* Also essential are a can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with internal business partners.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
* 0-2 years experience with, or exposure to, business functions such as compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, government affairs, and finance. BA/BS required. CPA, Masters, JD, or equivalent work experience preferred.
