Successful Strategies for Employment
"What employers are looking for."
A Free Career Event
"Registration is brisk and seats are filling up!"
Dear John,
Since the first announcement of this event (last Wednesday afternoon), registration is brisk and seats are filling up.
It's just another sign of an active, growing, healthy job market. Optimism abounds - and for good reason. Things are happening! Candidates are getting hired! The Career Development Center and the Alumni Office ofFairleigh Dickinson University see that - and are here to help you. To that end...
...a strategically selected panel of six Human Resources professionals, representing prominent corporations, will gather to tell you what they're looking for.
All six of these HR professionals are FDU alumni:
* Debbie Barrett, Vice President of HR, Univision Communications
* Evelyn Cortes, Regional Human Resources Manager, Macy's
* Jennifer Eckhardt, Organizational Effectiveness Manager, Biomet, Inc.
* Chris Fitzpatrick, Talent Acquisition Manager, Enterprise Holdings
* Jennifer Hanson, Recruitment Account Manager, GlaxoSmithKline
* Trishan Peiris, Business Development, dinaliC Staffing
I will moderate this panel, which will run from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
This is a FREE event and is open to the public.
In this rapidly improving job market, it is more important than ever to have smart strategies for employment - and to know what employers are looking for.
So don't delay. Register now. It's free and simple and takes less than a minute.
(Please: Advance registration is required.) You will immediately receive a thank you confirmation, followed by directions to Dickinson Hall, 140 University Plaza Drive, on the Hackensack side of the FDU campus. Parking instructions and permit will be included.
I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
Best, as always.
Eli
