Project Description:
*Telecommunication is expanding the current infrastructure to support
customized sales programs. Large outsourcing sale programs require
Telecommunication to be a network integrator for for many vocie and data
services. As a total solution provider, Telecommunication will provide
traditional telecom services as well as management services managing the
fulfillment and operation across multiple suppliers. The added management
services requires new infrastructure in handling suppliers

*Description:*
The candidate needs to help perform the service order data analysis, to
develop service order data processing techniques, to deploy algorithms to
derive the monthly recurring management fee structure, to test database
models and to process the data into acceptable for billing and invoicing.
Subsequently, the needs to develop comprehensive requirements and programs
for implementing the algorithms. - 3+ Years of experience with UNIX, Shell,
Awk or Perl
- 5+ years of Oracle SQL and PLSQL experience
- 5+ years of web database application development experience using MVC
Architecture
- Oracle SQL/PLSQL Certification (desired but not required)
- Experience using JBuilder, Eclipse or JDeveloper, SQL Navigator/TOAD,
Apache, Tomcat, Unix (Solaris), Oracle 9i/10G, Web Logic for
production-level projects - Strong Reporting/OLAP/DataWarehouse experience
and skills in developing custom and ad-hoc reports.
- Ability to develop basic images/icons for web pages using any graphical
dev. tools ( Adobe, etc)
- Experience with developing web graphical reports using server-side Java
packages (JFreeChart, etc)
- Strong front-end development skills in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS,
XML, XSLT
- 3+ years of experience using JSP, Servlets, Beans, EJBs, J2EE, XML
- 2+ years of experience in developing with Spring framework and Hybernate
- Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with
clients and business users
- MS or BS degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/etc
- Ability to take lead developer/architecture role for different systems
- Sun Java Certification

This will include handling issues of basic to moderate levels of complexity and exercising judgment and discretion in carrying out duties.

There will also be some interactions with the corporate financial staff to provide design and architecture changes for applications while participating in software development as part of a team approach. This will require working with technical and/or functional team members to ensure work assignments being developed are in compliance with the IT organizations standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or Computer Information Systems. Typically requires 4 to 6 years related experience with a BS.

Contributing and providing technical and analytical assistance in:
-Enhance Financial Systems for corporate support
-Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within pre-determined time constraints
-Design, code, test and debug software programs according to customer requirement specifications
-Develop and perform software system testing and validation procedures, programming and test plan documentation

Strong analytical ability to perform full range of system design and programming responsibilities utilizing state of the art concepts, techniques and languages. This position requires critical thinking, logic, and attention to detail. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and business processes.

Assist in gathering and evaluating end user requirements. Writing and compiling routine code, documenting, validating and researching reported problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to analyze and interpret business processes and write requirements and other varied business correspondence and present information effectively both written and verbally.

Core Skills & Technical Experience:
-Must have basic understanding of software development methodologies

This will include designing new processes, new modification based on changes in the corporate business processes and devising new procedures.

Works on problems of moderate scope/complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Regularly exercises judgment to determine appropriate action.

Other Desirable Skills:
- SQL queries, hints and explain plans; PL/SQL procedures and packages; Oracle schema, database objects, database links, partitioning and indexing.
- Microsoft.Net (Analysis/Reporting Services)
- MS Office programming experience using MS Excel (emphasis on Pivot Tables), Word (ideally including MS Office automation), Server 2003, Visual Basic .NET.
