Location – Raritan NJ
Duration– 3 to 6 Months contract with high chances of extension
Client – Major Pharma industry
Rate – On W2 – No benefits / Hour basis
Only GC/US Citizen/EAD
Job Description:
Project/Department Description and responsibilities
• Corporate IT Infrastructure projects, GPM USA

Environment Development Tool(s) and Platform(s)
General experience and conceptual understanding of:
• Windows 200X Server Platform incl. SQL, IIS, Share point
• VMWare, Citrix
• Unix, Oracle
• SAP
• Cisco equipment and network topology

Primary Tasks and responsibilities
• Specify ITSS project requests, taking into account ITSS guidelines and
procedures; Group, prioritize and optimize those requests

• Take responsibility for gathering project requirements, define/document
solutions, scope, and

associated project costs and estimating effort and resources needed.
• Responsible for assembling project teams, identifying appropriate resource
needs, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual team member
responsibilities. Function as a team builder for all projects managed.

• Create required project management, system life cycle, compliance validation
documentation

• Ensure approvals of documentation is completed and documents stored
appropriately

• Ensure scope management and appropriate change request process is followed
• Coordinate project activity, including meetings/updates, design and execution
of test plans, validating systems and processes.

• Partner with other IT organizations to complete projects and documentation
• Ensure project progress, status reporting and milestones are completed before
base line dates

• Ensure project timelines are managed and project details in Clarity tool
maintained

• Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure ITSS commitment dates and project
deliverables are met.

• Deliver projects within requested timeframe and budget.
• Ensure standards/architecture are followed or creating/presenting waivers to
deviate

• Ensure infrastructure is available and documentation completed before baseline
date and project closure is completed and recorded appropriately

• Establish and maintain partner relationships with business partners including
effectively communicating to team, stakeholders, other IT groups (written and
oral) Communicate project status to project sponsors and stakeholders.

• Become expert in software implementation lifecycle (SDLC/SILC), incorporate
industry best practice methodologies

Technical profile requirements
• Project Management experience in an international and multicultural
environment (budgets, plan, schedule, issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis,
etc.) (+5 years)

• Experience with end user support integrations or environments (ITIL)
• Computer infrastructure operations or deployment background
• Background managing projects in an FDA regulated environment preferred.
• Experience developing project management, and project methodology
documentation.

Non-Technical profile requirements
• Experience managing local and remote technical teams.
• Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or
weekend/holiday work)

• Travel can occur occasionally but will be limited
• Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
• Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
• Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
• Quick learner, motivated self-starter
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication (verbal / written),
and team collaboration skills

• Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines

Methodology/Certification requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent
through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued
education in technical disciplines is preferred

• PMP certification is a plus.

• English spoken and written

JOB DESCRIPTION
 
 
Provide support to the Director- LEAN by contributing to business process
improvement activities, participating in project teams and completing required
tasks. Support execution of strategy & completion of LEAN process improvement
projects. Provide peers a better understanding of LEAN tools and processes, and
inform others on how LEAN Office efforts complement current business strategies.
Act as change agent to instill LEAN culture throughout the organization.
Communicate process changes to stakeholders. Contribute process and LEAN
expertise to the success of projects. Help line management ensure improvements
are sustained. Identify process improvement opportunities and develop business
case(s) to support implementation. Collect and analyze LEAN process data, help
identify solutions, and implement improvements. Track and update project
milestones and help to identify and resolve issues.

Lead Complex high-visibility projects across multiple functions or businesses.
Build and drive project tasks. Ensure that project teams apply appropriate LEAN
process improvement tools and techniques. Assist in identification, selection,
prioritization, scoping and assigning LEAN initiatives to ensure they are
aligned with the business strategy, have significant business impact, and
provide adequate pipeline of projects to ensure continued flow of savings and
improvement. Drive execution of LEAN strategy by overseeing process
improvements. Assist in creation of metrics to monitor performance, operational
improvements and financial benefit. Ensure that project milestones and available
resources are tracked and updated and that issues are identified and resolved.

• Masters degree or equivalent required
• Minimum of 8 years related experience in related industry
• Leadership experience is preferred
• In depth experience with LEAN tools and methodology required
• Strong analytical, negotiation, meeting management, cross functional team and
leadership skills
• Demonstrated business understanding and Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)
