Project Manager

Job Requirements

• Manages multiple client facing infrastructure deployments projects. Serve as primary contact for external customers.
• Assists business units with development of business case, vision, drivers, feasibility and scope of proposed projects. Utilizes PMO framework for formally adopting projects meeting defined characteristics. Assists in documentation of this information. Assists business owners in identifying areas for process improvement.
• Upon formal adoption of a project, works with business units and other departments in defining and documenting detailed project requirements. Coordinates cross-departmental communication required in developing requirements. Coordinates tool selection process as needed.
• Maintains overall project plan for assigned projects utilizing project-tracking tool. Includes detailing tasks and assignments required to complete project, resources required to complete project and budget resulting from project plan. Reports periodically on project status. Alerts various constituencies as to schedule constraints, resource issues, project risks and scope changes.
• Works within E&TS to define and acquire resources for project execution and coordinates efforts of all resources involved in project with objective of facilitating and ensuring project plans are completed on time, on budget and within specifications. Responsible for leading and directing the designated project team and accountable to the business owner for timely and efficient project delivery. Responsible for alerting management to issues preventing completion of projects on time, on budget and within specifications.
• Adheres to project management methodologies defined by the PMO
• Maintains all documentation related to assigned projects ensuring that it is complete and current.
• Coordinates appropriate team development activities necessary to complete the project such as training and meeting facilitation.
• Coordinates the solicitation and procurement of appropriate outside resources and/or equipment/software. Coordinates the administration of contracts with third parties as necessary.
• Responsible for ongoing communication with PMO management and staff as to project progress and resource use and needs.
• Directly accountable to business units for execution and delivery of assigned projects.
• Enforces defined project management standards among project team members.
• Responsible for testing plan and coordinates user acceptance testing activities to ensure the result of the project adheres to the requirements. Provides testing feedback to the development team for issue resolution.
• Performs appropriate project closeout procedures including scope verification and lessons learned.
• Assists in defining direction and framework for department.
• Broad working knowledge of technology applications and their impact on the business

Skills & Requirements

Possesses core project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple or large projects in a cross-functional environment. Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, has a proven track record of customer service attitude, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment. Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment, as well as filing systems and business letter writing. Competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic. Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as the ability to present and explain information, both business and technical, in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. Demonstrates the ability to lead and motivate a staff to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.
Demonstrates competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs including Exchange, MS Project and Visio.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. Project Management certification including PMP and/or PRINCE2 highly desirable.

Five to seven years’ experience in management of corporate wide projects is required.

Additional Skills

Following skills/experience is highly desirable

• Working background and knowledge in Windows and Linux Operating Systems; Database and Web Technologies and Applications; and Networking TCP/IP fundamentals is highly desirable
• Familiarization with server and networking hardware platforms such as HP, SUN, Cisco, Critix in a datacenter environment
• Experience with virtual and cloud computing technologies using technology like Amazon Web Services, VMWare, KVM, and more.

Job Purpose
This position is fully responsible for manning the front desk and managing the
Metro Park office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
·         Screen and greet visitors; answer and screen the main telephone
·         Organize Executive Committee and other meetings, domestic and
international; assist with agendas
·         Make travel arrangements for guests and Executive Committee members
·         Schedule candidate interviews and maintain applicant flow sheets

·         Assist IT with security system administration

Working Conditions
The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting.  Activities
include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor

Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate orally management, and co-workers, both individually and
in front of a group is crucial.  Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for
communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common.  Hearing,
vision and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations,
to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. No heavy
lifting is expected.  Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be
required.  Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, L.L.C. (MDL) is a CLIA certified clinical
laboratory with multiple state licensing that specializes in state of the art,
automated DNA based molecular analysis of a variety of chronic and infectious
illnesses with viral, microbial, or environmental etiology. MDL specializes and
performs Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with a larger menu of testing available
in the field of infectious disease. Our Research and Development department at
MDL is comprised of experts in the fields of Molecular Biology, Molecular
Virology, Microbiology, Molecular Oncology and Gynecology. Our main theme of
research is in the field of Infectious Arthritis, Tick-borne Diseases, Mycology,
and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
MDL is looking for a team-oriented Network Support Specialist reporting to the
Network Manager. Candidate should have 2-4 years experience, able to work
independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining an
appropriate attitude and composure. Candidate should be flexible and ready to
handle a variety of technical needs of our company and willing to assist
non-technical employees.

Responsibilities:
·   First level support answering helpdesk calls, and managing the helpdesk
ticketing queue, from the headquarters and remote sites.
·   Managing a variety of desktops including Windows platforms and Apple.
·   Good troubleshooting skills, with a wide variety of 3rd party software.
·   Documenting network issues, daily work orders and inventory
·   Printer installations and maintenance
·   Service various phone types including Black Berry, Android, and Iphone
connected to corporate email.
·   Strong troubleshooting skills with server, client environment
·   Assist with maintaining , upgrading and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks
·   Traveling to remote sites, mostly 1mi distance.
·   Willingness to learn specialized software, (DocStar, Bizcom, MAS2000, etc.)
·   PBX phone system troubleshooting and support, or willingness to learn.
·   Supporting remote access VPN users, with laptop, and phone issues
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We are looking for a hands-on person with excellent technical and problem
solving skills to make sure our operation is running efficiently and flawlessly.
The right candidate will need to have good organizational and communications
skills and will need to work with all levels of users, from novice to highly
technical. The person must be a collaborative team member of the Technology
Department and be willing to put the time in to get the job done. You will
report directly to the Network and Systems Administrator Manager in Hamilton,
NJ. Candidate should be able to work independently and manage multiple
concurrent tasks while maintaining appropriate attitude and composure. Candidate
should be flexible and ready to handle a variety of technical needs of our

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories LLC(MDL) is a member of the Genesis
Biotechnology Group (GBG). GBG is a consortium of entities and institutes, in
the fields of molecular biology, medicinal chemistry and biotechnology. Our
mission is to improve the patient’s quality of life by linking basic science and
the development of diagnostic and pre-clinical treatments. We provide clinical
laboratory services througha CLIA certified clinical laboratory with multiple
state licensing. The laboratory specializes in state of the art, automated DNA

GBG members are also engaged in research and development of complex genetic

The Genesis Biotechnology Group has an opening for an Associate Counsel to join
our nine person legal team in our corporate office in Hamilton, NJ. 

 
Position Description:
The Associate Counsel will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide
variety of business contracts including research collaborations, joint venture
agreements, and license agreements and consulting agreements.  Major projects
involving complex business transactions may be handled as part of a team
approach with members of the Legal Department, scientists, finance
representatives and other professionals.  The Associate Counsel will provide
legal advice to internal clients on a broad range of matters including policies
and procedures and regulatory compliance. This position will report to the
General Counsel.
Requirements
·         J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
·         License to practice law in at least one state; licensing in New Jersey
is preferred.
·         Minimum of 2-4 years with an in-house Legal Department preferred but
candidates with only law firm experience will be considered. 
* Excellent drafting and research skills including experience using Lexis or
West Law or similar programs.
