Job Responsibilities
The Corporate System and Operations Technology team seeks a motivated individual to lead the end-to-end planning and management of technical systems implementation projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling scope of systems implementation projects, and managing the activities of cross-functional projects teams in the delivery of the end-to-end project plan.
In delivering system implementation initiatives, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing the overall project plan;
- Managing/delivering all project tracking and reporting;
- Managing the on time and on budget delivery;
- Working across teams to define the project staffing and managing throughout the lifecycle of delivery;
- Managing all communications (project team, management level and business sponsor);
- Managing project risks and issues by working across teams and organizations to anticipate and work to resolve/reach consensus; and
- Managing both business client and project team expectations for delivery.
Core skills required for the candidate include:
- Experience managing projects in an IT environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills including ability to coordinate cross-functional communication.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate as subject matter expert for area of responsibility.
- Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite and/or PeopleSoft Applications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field from an accredited university, minimum
- Advance degrees / certifications preferred (e.g., PMI)
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in an IT environment
- Understanding of the financial services industry, preferable.
