Position Summary:
· Responsible for overall success of the implementation.
· Responsible for development of detailed project plan, budget, and
task management to achieve project objectives.
· Responsible for identification, negotiation and procurement of all
project-related items, including third party software solutions.
· Recruiting and management of all resources (full-time and
contract) to staff project(s).
· Drive and facilitate the project team to successful completion of
project within budget and on schedule.
· Provide status reporting to executive management and team on
progress toward objectives.
· Make decisions escalated from functional teams and escalate to
Steering Committee and Executive Management as needed.
· Manage and ensure all project issues are resolved promptly to
avoid negative impact to the budget or schedule.
· Provide guidance to project teams on implementation methodologies
and internal project processes.
· Develop, maintain and report project progress metrics.
· Review, analyze and evaluate business systems, tools and
information needs for project scope.
Position will be based in MA but must be willing to travel as necessary.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· BS/MS Business
· Project Management Professional - (PMP) Certification - Excellent
project management skills
· Minimum of 7-10 years experience managing information technology
solution projects - Must have a history of successful project
implementations
· Oracle applications (version 11i and 12) and AIM skills/experience
· Ability to manage technical and functional Oracle Applications
staff
· Minimum of 3 years Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation
experience
· Requires strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financials
· Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project
management tools
· High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability
to manage scope and budget
· Ability to meet tight implementation schedules.
· Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving
abilities
· Effective organization and time management skills, with ability to
work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Knowledge of and ability to utilize implementation methodologies
and deliverable templates (Resource Plan; Work Plan; Test Plan;
Implementation Plan; Warranty Period Plan; etc.,)
· Ability to establish effective working relationships and
contribute in a team environment

Position Summary:
Line Management of Project Managers for the Finance domain group.
· Strategic focus on developing and managing long term relationships
with Business and Service units in support of the development and
maintenance of the firm's Corporate Finance systems environment. Works to
define, prioritize, and execute balanced program of IT projects related to
the business needs.
· Responsible for the management of multiple large-scale,
cross-functional programs and projects that may integrate major technologies
and/or business components.
· Understands the regulatory environment of the CRO industry and the
business needs of the firm.
· Responsible for the management of worldwide projects, including
implementation of new technologies and solutions.
· Responsible for worldwide team leadership of diverse project
resources.
· Identify opportunities for improving business operations through
more effective, standardized use of technology and project management
methodologies.
· Contribute to the definition and development of worldwide
operating processes, procedures and standards.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· BS/MS in a Business/Technology discipline
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - Excellent
people, program, and project management skills
· 10 years of line management experience leading the delivery of
systems and applications in support of the Corporate Finance domain.
· Oracle applications (version 11i and 12) and AIM skills/experience
· Strong functional understanding of Corporate Finance and Oracle
Financials
· Proven ability to manage a team of IT Project Managers
· Strong ability to manage relationships with senior leadership team
business partners and stake holders
· Implementation experience in the Oracle eBusiness Suite
