Compensation: $110K - $150K / Year

Jobcode: IJA99 · Develop and maintain robust and efficient distributed computing components(in C++ and Python) to deliver pricing and risk modeling services in both soft real-time and overnight batch processing environments.
· Develop and maintain pricing and risk analytics module inside the brokerage firm's main client trading application (in Java).
Requirements:
The candidate should be capable of making sound software design given a project spec, and implementing with production quality.
Specific qualifications:
· Professional experience in C++ or Java. Proficient in Object-Oriented design and design patterns.
· Solid skills in some or all of the following: Python, socket programming, multi-thread programming, OLAP, MySQL, embedded database(Berkeley DB, SQLite, HSQLDB), Linux.
· Professional experience in designing industrial applications on distributed computing platforms. Experience in building fault-tolerant application protocols on top of TCP or HTTP is preferred.
· Demonstrated records in handling complexity in design and implementation of real-world applications.
· Strong logical thinking and problem solving ability.
· Knowledge of financial instruments is preferred but not required.
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and team player.
· Master or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.
