Working with the 'C-level' executives of our company, the Senior Financial Analyst will prepare presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors and outside investors, perform competitor analysis, coordinate domestic budgeting activities, conduct actual to budget variance analysis, prepare the MD&A for SEC filings and perform ad-hoc analysis. The candidate's FP&A responsibilities will focus on the North American operations of the Priceline Group. In addition, he/she will assist in our capital transactions and M&A activities by modeling transactions and being part of the due diligence team.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Oversee North America budget and forecasting process, including preparation of consistent presentation templates and coordination with product teams regarding process and timetable

Job Description
Responsible for leading Global Product Innovation (GPI) for Global Personal Care and Hair Care. Identifies product opportunities, white space or consumer need gap, the supporting trends as well as the role the category will play in the Avon portfolio. This person is also responsible for "selling" the concept through Global Marketing and the regional marketing teams in order to secure global pick-up and support volumes/sales estimates. This entails helping to create "fact sheets" to explain the products positioning, technology, claims, benefits, trends etc. This person also works with R&D, Sourcing, Design, Package Engineering and Marketing to develop fragrance, formula, shades, package functionality and positioning to bring this product through the development cycles and to market.
This person is also the key lead in working with outside vendor companies who account for a large portion of our new product offerings for Personal Care and Hair Color. This includes evaluating vendor ideas and formulas, briefing the vendor on new ideas, approving hair color shades and formulation aesthetics, identifying portfolio gaps and leading innovation for the categories.
Success is measured based on the new product pipeline and performance of the products developed. Goal is to ensure all markets are launching on trend, innovative and impactful products that meet consumer needs.
The candidate must be able to work and manage in a highly matrixed environment with team members located globally (Brazil and NYC). Will lead a team of ~2 people across different geographies.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the "New Product Development" (NPD) process with cross functional team to ensure on schedule launches.
* Work with R&D/vendors to develop and approve formulas and claims.
* Evaluate new product submissions, conduct internal formula evaluations and provides direction to R&D. Ensure on time approval of bases and claims.
* Create trend presentations to share with Management and Regions
* Assists global/regional marketing counterparts to ensure alignment of product positioning, claims, and formula/performance benchmarks. Participates in monthly cross-category Gate and weekly NPD team meetings.
* Responsible for ongoing analysis of competitive launches Globally. Evaluates competitive brand segmentations and claims to look for new whitespace initiatives, claims language, product forms, and trends happening in the Hair Care market.
* Shade matching expertise to give direction and approval to R&D, vendors and creative team for formulas, swatches, models, boxes, brochure and other printed advertising collateral
Qualifications
Required Skills:
BS in Marketing or New Product Development. Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing or new product development of personal care or hair care.
Desired skills:
Strong olfactive expertise
Comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape and an interest in trends
A detailed understanding of who the global PC/HC players are and what their products are, so that they are able to identify new offerings and developing trends.
Knowledge about new ingredient technologies, hair color technologies and salon treatments.
Creative writing skills in order to create concepts in a "concept positioning outline".
Experience in evaluating product aesthetics and performance and knowledge of competitive formula aesthetics

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Global Head of the Monographed Drugs, Medical Devices and Cosmetics Safety Surveillance (MDCS) in the Office of Consumer Medical Safety (OCMS) of the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies (JJCC), the Product Vigilance Scientist (PVS) has a primary responsibility and accountability for supporting management in (a) the implementation of safety governance processes, (b) the scientific review and critical assessment of reference safety information, and optionally (c) process development for medical review and surveillance of a wide range of consumer and personal products. The PVS will work in close collaboration with MDCS leadership and with project management to ensure the compliance, timeliness and quality of deliverables.
Qualifications: The PVS will have the necessary education and experience to understand (1) the scientific basis and related safety consequences of consumer and personal products, and (2) the organization of business processes in a regulated environment. Tasks and activities that are expected to be within the current core expertise of the candidate PVS (requiring a minimal learning curve) include individual contributor roles in (a) the implementation of safety management processes; and, (b) the scientific review of company core data sheets. Preferably, the PVS has also demonstrated (i) cross-functionally cooperative and collaborative behavior in a global working environment; (ii) the breadth and depth of experience to actively contribute to innovation in safety management and methods; and, (iii) the insight and flexibility to seamlessly align with evolving business needs and action plans. Optionally, provided that substantive expertise can be
demonstrated, opportunities may exist to contribute to various aspects of medical case review and/or signal detection and evaluation.
