Location – Jersey city NJ

Description –

A Business Analyst position requiring excellent communication skills, some technical expertise in SQL Databases, and excellent skills with MS-Office.  The candidate will frequently present his Analyses to Senior team members in the Sales & Marketing as well as IT area.

 

•                      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to communicate professionally with project stakeholders, project team members, and management.

•                      Ability to maintain an excellent working relationship with the business, understand business needs, and collaborate to determine requirements in a fast-paced Sales environment.

•                      Ability to evaluate information received from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high level requirements into details

•                      Excellent Analysis and Presentation skills

•                      Excellent MS-Office skills

•                      Mid-to-High-level knowledge of SQL

•                      Working knowledge of Statistics

•                      Good understanding of technology platforms and ability to explain technical concepts to the business users in the context of business requirements.

•                      Knowledgeable about techniques to effectively elicit requirements from end-users, individually or as a group (e.g. JAD sessions, prototyping, etc.)

•                      Ability to do basic prototyping of business process flows and front ends.

•                      Ability to define performance and scalability attributes, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.

•                      Proven track record working with Senior level business personnel on key initiatives requiring data investigation and analysis.

•                      Demonstrated ability to work directly with project stakeholders and end users to elicit, verify, document, and maintain clear requirements.

•                      Demonstrated ability to gather requirements for individual components of an application.

•                      Some Project Management experience providing time estimates and status on business analysis-related tasks.

•                      Financial Industry experience 

•                      Experience in managing an RFI/RFP vendor selection process

•                       

Softskills:

•                      Team player, Self-starter, "Can Do" attitude, Fast learner, Strong organizational skills

•                      BCP
