Position Responsibilities Summary
As member of the Enterprise Delivery Services Team, this individual will be
responsible for leading the design, implementation, and active
administration of the firm's SharePoint platform. This role requires a
well-rounded technologist that can work with stakeholders to build consensus
on vision and then implement a complimentary SharePoint infrastructure.
This unique role offers the individual the opportunity to have tremendous
impact on a number of foundational initiatives. The candidate would join
the group at a point at which they will have significant direct impact on
shaping the next generation of Content Management/Collaboration offerings.
Responsibilities:
· Lead farm design and implementation efforts related to the firm's
MS SharePoint Platform (SP2007/SP2010/SP2013).
· Work with engineers and users to consistently understand new
capability requirements and proactively explore opportunities to leverage a
broader set of OOTB SharePoint features.
· Support the firm's SharePoint infrastructure by actively
configuring/managing server farm topology, applying infrastructure updates,
managing release plans, tracking/resolving issues, and continuously ensuring
delivery expectations are clear and well vetted
· Work across teams - such as with middleware, database, and
architecture teams to coordinate infrastructure design and implementation
activities
· Work to define and implement a governance model across our
SharePoint offerings
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Proven expertise in SharePoint Farm Administration and
Architecture. Including Central Administration, Web Front Ends (WFEs),
Shared Services, SQL Server, PowerShell, deployment packages (WSP), and
other SharePoint-centric application servers and services.
· Material experience administering user security in the SharePoint
environment including the use of SharePoint and Active Directory groups
· Expertise in the setup and configuration of advanced SharePoint
services including Mail Services, Excel Services, Workflow Services and
SharePoint Search Services.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience
addressing the technical questions/needs of management, technical staff, and
SharePoint end-users in a timely and professional manner including
recommending best-practices that enhance the end-user experience and promote
both system efficiency and maintainability.
· Working knowledge of SQL Server
· Proven planning, delivery, technical, and analysis skills
· Track record of working with business stakeholders, engineers,
analysts, and infrastructure teams to complete and deliver projects
· Overall 8+ years of relevant work experience
· 5+ year of experience with SharePoint (SP2003, SP2007, SP2010, and
SP2013)
· Proven ability to support multiple work streams simultaneously
· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal
supervision
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

1. We are seeking a strong SharePoint Architect that has strong skills
architecting the back end and is current with SharePoint version 2010 and
its advanced features. We will be upgrading to version 2013.
2. The role will be focused on SharePoint as it relates to Application and
Infrastructure platforms. The individual needs to have experience out of a
large, complex environment with hundreds of servers, databases, &
applications Global 24X7 Mission Critical Environment.
3. This individual will interface with the Investors and other members of
the business so communication skills need to be excellent.
