This position is primarily responsible for selling products to businesses
and government clients and growth of the region.  The opportunity is
responsible for the New York region.
* Compiles lists of
prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from
ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged
leads, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and
other sources to develop business in the region.
* Target potential accounts.
* Educate key and potential accounts on the value add services and profit improvement tools offered. 
* Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by
telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
* Visits accounts to determine customer needs and introduce solutions.
* Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
* Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
* Provides product demos to qualified customers on request.
* Travels to and attends trade shows.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university. 
* 5-7 years of International Freight Forwarding Industry experience within the LAX, SFO, ORD, NYC Market. 
* Minimum 2 years in a Business Development role as an Individual Contributor.
* Track record of results
Travel will be 40--50%.  Local residents only, please.

Digital Channels (DC) is one of the key distribution channels whose aim is to deliver an exceptional, seamless and effortless experience for customers and clients who manage their finances online. DC is accountable for the online strategy, customer experience and distribution of products and services across businesses. The DC Project Delivery team is responsible for the end to end project management of key DC and partner initiatives.

Job Description/Accountabilities:
The PM will play a key role in DC, applying project management methodology to support the completion of technology solutions for Tier 1-4 initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
- Manage medium-to-large projects, most of which involve diverse teams and require cross-functional interaction
- Be a true partner to the business by providing advice and guidance regarding best practices in project management and by actively learning the nuances of projects
- Work with partners as a liaison between the business and technology groups
- Ensure successful completion of projects through the application of TDBG Project Management methodology
- Engage all stakeholders to identify and manage outcomes of projects for the business
- Establish and manage effective project oversight via team management and structured governance bodies
- Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of significant changes to the project status in a timely manner
- Respond to inquiries and escalate concerns from stakeholders at all levels in the organization (technical, business, Senior and Executive Management)
- Apply Organizational Change Management principles and practices in order to effectively manage the people side of change (e.g., stakeholder analysis, business process management, people

readiness, sustainment planning, etc.)
- Oversee project financials and manage the project budget
- Communicate project summary, status, financials, etc. to key stakeholders, and manage the relevant project administration tools and repositories
- Collaborate with appropriate partners to ensure required resources are assigned to the project for successful delivery of the project
- Build consensus and relationships with project team and business


Job Requirements:
- Strong skills in relationship building/management and collaboration, to work with a group of diverse project management professionals across the enterprise, focused on best in class delivery of

projects.
- Firm understanding of both technology and business work streams on projects â€" from application development to infrastructure activities, requirements, development, testing, transfer to Ops,

collaboration with training, marketing and communication partners.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Skillful communication (written and verbal), negotiation and partnership skills to balance stakeholder input but remain objective to reach the right outcome - ability to stay resilient under pressure;

superior ability to influence and motivate others, including those who do not have a direct reporting relationship
- Expertise in working effectively in teams â€" requires a track record of working cross-organizationally and with multiple stakeholders at varying levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing change as this role will involve coordination activities across all the lines of business as well as infrastructure and will require the capability to bring people

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:
The successful candidate should have 8-10 years previous senior project manager or equivalent experience.
- Experience in managing projects in the online space highly desired
- B.A.-level college degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
