Job Description               A major Life Insurance Company which has an office In Long Island City is looking for a Project Coordinator.

Skills Required                 Must have strong experience with MicroSoft Project, Word and Excel.

                                              There will also be a lot of administrative tasks, strong follow up skills are required, must take notes at meetings,
                                              Must setup meetings, must have great people skills, must be strong at multi tasking, work with engineers to their
                                              Ideas down on paper, will have a little bit of project involvement, a person who is always willing to help out no
                                              Matter how long or difficult the t ask is and must be able to deal with all levels of management from Senior to
                                              Junior.

Salary Range                     This is a temporary position from 3-6 months which will pay up to $55 an hour Corp to Corp and less for W-2.

Duration: 06-12 Months Contract

Job Description:

Project Manager will provide effective management of large business critical
IT projects, oversee the management of multiple smaller projects being
managed by functional groups.

This is accomplished by applying or ensuring the application of a standard,
defined methodology to the project, and providing the leadership skills
necessary to control the execution of the project tasks.

The project manager is responsible for delivering several key project
artifacts and shares responsibility and accountability with the project
leadership team for the successful delivery of the entire project.

Key Responsibilities Owns end-to-end project management from project
initiation to the project rollout Overall responsibility for the resource
plan, project plan, timeline and budget.

Manages project scope to achieve expected deliverables - on time and within
budget.

Processes change control when necessary. Adapts project deliverables based
upon business requirements/new information as it becomes available during
the project.

Responsible for executive and overall project status reporting.

Communicates with all levels of management and to all stakeholders.

Requirements Strong project management skills, experience in SDLC, technical
background preferred At least 7 years of project management experience with
a track record of delivery of projects Ability to accommodate changing
priorities in a fast paced environment Ability to manage multiple concurrent
projects Previous supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership
abilities Must have excellent communication skills Bachelors degree in
