Position Description

The Performance Acceleration for Manufacturing group is an operational support
team of around 30 members with varied cultural and operational backgrounds. Its
members work on overseas assignments throughout the year, driving performance
acceleration in Manufacturing and related activities of the company. At the end
of the 4 years program, the Performance Acceleration Engineer will become a
Global Operations Manager.
In order to reinforce the team, we are looking for:
Performance Acceleration Engineers
To join our 4 years international program with worldwide exposure, international
assignments, workshops and seminars to enhance capability.
As a Performance Acceleration Analyst, you will be traveling about 9 months per
year with the following responsibilities:
- To assess operations performance against best-in-class and support
implementation of best practices.
- To conduct thorough analysis (total delivered cost, manufacturing), shape the
best solution with key stakeholders, test for sustainable implementation.
- To transpose practical solutions into best practices and driving the
implementation of the solutions.
Based on performance your responsibilities may be progressively increased after
18-24 months up to the level of a Project Leader on site, which includes:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 3-10 members (e.g. building team spirit;
providing the right structure; involving the team in decision making).
- Manage and lead Projects according to objectives, time and budget utilizing
project management skills.
- Communicate the outcome in form of detailed presentation & executive summary
to local & senior management.
Expected Profile:
- Master Degree in Engineering, Food technology, Industrial, Mechanical, or
Chemical Engineering.
- 2-3 years relevant experience in Manufacturing / Industry – a must!
- Exposure to problem solving tools such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, SMED, Loss Tree
Analysis is an advantage.
- Fluency in English, plus at least 1 or 2 major languages such as Spanish etc.
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with diplomacy and leadership.
- Ability to act as a change agent and to impact & convince - strong team
player.
- Strong motivation to travel worldwide and pursue an international career in
Operations.

Minimum 5 years experience of demonstrated strength in IT project
management, requirements gathering and business analysis
· Minimum 3 years experience with BI technologies (e.g. SAP BusinessObjects,
Adobe Flex, Cognos, MicroStrategy)
· Minimum 3 years data analytical experience using SQL and/or other
data-mining tools
· Solid communication, problem-solving and change-management expertise

I would also include a maximum of 8-10 years overall IT experience or they will
be too qualified, unless they are committed to BI PM/BA work long term. Even
then, I want to make sure we are bringing in candidates that are willing to
learn and grow with the organization over time
