We are conducting an executive search for a VP/Director of Sales with a
strong rolodex and proven success record to expand our client's North
American business. The position reports to the President and is located in
on the West Coast. Client prefers someone already living in Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Seattle, etc. Candidates must already live on the West Coast
or be willing to relocate. Working remotely is not an option. Candidates
must have held a sales position within the last twelve months with
responsibility for a personal quota selling enterprise software and/or
solutions to companies in the video gaming industry.
Candidates must have a well developed "Rolodex" of executives in the video
game industry, social media, social gaming and/or the MMO space.
Compensation will include an annual base salary in line with experience
level and market rates. Should be able to at least double base with
commissions. No cap on commissions. Client wants someone who is very
hungry and confident in their sales abilities. This position is perfect
for an ambitious and results oriented executive who is a "hunter" in
approach to developing new accounts and outsourcing multi-shore solutions
for the Interactive Entertainment Industry. This is an excellent
opportunity to grow with a company dominating in its industry.

POSITION: VP/Director of Sales. (Title depends on experience). Position
reports to the President. Initially, this position is an individual
contributor position. Your territory will be all of North America. The
company is growing quickly, so there is a possibility of advancement based
on performance. Must have the ability to take a role as an individual and
work closely with other team members. Ideally, client would like to hire
someone that can grow with the company. Someone that could build/grow a
team while managing an individual quota too. But, no promises will be
made at this time.
LOCATION: The position is located on the West Coast. Client prefers

MANAGEMENT STYLE/CORPORATE CULTURE: This position reports to the
President. She is the opposite of a micromanager. Basically, she prefers
to agree to a set of objectives making sure that the objectives are clearly
outlined and understood by the individual, then let the individual execute
the plan. But, expects the individual to keep her informed of progress.
Individual must be able to go the President when in need of help. She does
not want to be surprised by a problem.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have held a sales position within the last twelve months with
responsibility for a personal quota selling enterprise software and/or
solutions to companies in the video gaming industry.
- Must have a well developed "Rolodex" of executives in the video game
industry, social media, social gaming and/or the MMO space.
- Must have a record of quota over-achievement.
- Prefer someone who enjoys the entrepreneurial atmosphere of a small
company, but has been through the experience of scaling up an enterprise to
significant organization size and revenues. Experience working in a dynamic
(i.e. "startup") environment is preferred.
- Must be a "rockstar" sales executive with a strong rolodex and proven
success record to expand the company's North American business. This dynamic
individual will generate leads, make presentations, persuade decision
makers, negotiate service contracts, manage relationships, and close deals.
This position is perfect for an ambitious and results oriented business
development executive who is a "hunter" in approach to developing new
accounts and outsourcing multi-shore solutions for the Interactive
