Our client in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Project Manager for a 9+ month contract beginning immediately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Coordinate project activities with other projects to ensure timing and alignment
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge ofExhcnage, Blackberry Enterprise Software, and GXP knowledge in server environment.
2. University/College degree from accredited school.
3. 5-7 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
4. ITIL Certification highly preferred
5. Be very familiar with SDLC methodology
6. Possess strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS-Project and Clarity - use Clarity to manage project, assure that milestones, issues, risks are documented and communicated, manage and monitor time tracking of all resources on the project.
7. Competent and proficient understanding of platforms
8. Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
9. Excellent communication skills
10. MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT ABLE TO WORK ON OUR W2 WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP TO QUALIFY - NO CORP TO CORP CANDIDATES
COMPENSATION/COMMENTS:
Up to $51/hr (DOE) - If an offer is made, a 7 year criminal background check, education verification, employment verification, and 2 professional references will be required. Candidate must be pass all screenings to be hired.

He purchased the firm from his partner in 1988 and purchased HR Pros, a Rose Kane company in 1999. In 2008 he acquired a clinical and medical affairs recruiting and consulting firm.
Holding a bachelor’s degree from New Jersey City University where he majored in sociology and minored in computer science. He has completed graduate studies in human resources and people development at New School for Social Research. Bob earned CPC (certified personnel consultant) designation in 1992.

The informal networking groups are so helpful in networking that we will do the “speed dating†again on the 29th before we sit down for dinner and the general introductions. Briefly, these informal “dates†consist of up to 4 people and last for 5 to 10 minutes. At the end of the 10 minutes, the groups break up and new ones are formed with different participants. Suggested dialogues for your “speed dating†encounters will be provided at the registration desk in case you are at a loss for what to say during these conversations.

There will be an opportunity to circulate up to 60 copies of your resume, personal bio, leads, or other appropriate material in a handout for each participant from the dinner.

An initial list of attendees will be emailed to all the RSVPs, members of MNA, the ETP Network, TENG, The Breakfast Club of NJ, Monmouth Ntwkg, IT-Net, CIT and other interested parties the weekend of March 26/27 for initial review and correction. The RSVP list will facilitate networking at the March 29th meeting and can be used to communicate with attendees in advance or after the dinner meeting. For those attendees who are working, current work affiliation, email address, three previous companies you’ve worked for/consulted at, professional job interest or position availability must be included in your RSVP.

For those attendees who are in transition, three target companies should be included in your RSVP as well as the type of position you seek.

A “final†numbered RSVP list of attendees will be available along with the pre-published questions and an ID badge at the registration desk on the 29th. Your number on the final RSVP list should be part of your introduction: “I’m number x on the RSVP list …â€. All attendees should have their sharp, crisp, 30 second elevator speech at the ready. Too many “ahs, dees and doeses†will be cut off unceremoniously. Remember, you and your introduction will be between the rest of the attendees and dinner!

We will accept a LIMITED number of walk-ins on the 29th. Anyone who attends on the 29th and whose check has not been received by COB on the 28th will be charged $60 WITHOUT EXCEPTION. There will be NO refunds and no shows WILL be billed.
