The Sales Reporting data analyst will support the reporting team with data
and reporting specific tasks to support Global/Divisional and sales. The
ideal candidate will have strong problem solving, quantitative and
analytical skills, as well as good interpersonal skills for cross-functional
and global interaction. This candidate is a quick learner with high
attention to detail that can thrive in a fast paced environment.
Essential Functions:
• Run, validate and deliver data to internal customers based on existing
queries already set up by the data and reporting team.
• Update data in reporting and sales systems as requested to support monthly
reporting
• Test and validate data contained in new and enhanced reports • Assist in
development of new sales tools help address sellers' and the company's needs
• Assist with data related projects as needed Knowledge / Qualifications /
Skills / Experience:
• Bachelors degree required, preferably in quantitative field (e.g. math,
computer science, physics, statistics)
• 2-4 years of data analyst, reporting, or programming experience.
• Superior *Excel *and *Access* skills, especially with higher analytics and
modeling (e.g. vlookups, sumifs, pivots)
• Strong quantitative data interpretation skills that can address business
issues
• Good communicator who can build rapport with sellers and global sales
operations teams
• Ability to positively multi-task in matrixed environment
• Willingness to continue to learn and grow
• Experience with SQL or Microstrategy, a plus
• Passion for data and reporting

insurance products to financial service professionals and their clients

revenue, a 13% increase over the previous year and approximately $3.7

REPORTING
RELATIONSHIP
The Chief Accounting Officer will report directly to the Chief Financial
Officer, and will have a significant and integral interaction with the other
members of the senior management team.
MISSION STATEMENT & PURPOSE:
The core business strategy is to expand the individual annuity business and
to increase the risk-adjusted returns on invested capital by prudently
managing investment spreads and investment risk.
Key elements to this strategy are:
. Expand Regional Platform into National Platform.
. Broaden Annuity Product Offerings to include all four major
product types.
. Build on existing distribution channels.
. Enhance investment spread capabilities.
. Focus high quality service to Agents and Policyholders.
POSITION:
While this is not a new position, the Chief Accounting Officer will provide
enhanced leadership and vision.
Supported by a professional and dedicated staff, the Chief Accounting
Officer will have responsibility for the General Accounting, Governmental
and SEC reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and a strong
understanding of taxes.
Specifics will include, but are not limited to the following:
. Responsible for GAAP and NYS Statutory reporting compliance.
. Responsible for SEC filings (10Q, 10K, Proxy, Form 4, etc.).

. Responsible for financial reporting oversight for all business
functions.
. Responsible for Accounting and Corporate policy and procedure
development.
. Drive the Annual Operating Budget process
o Revenue enhancement
o Cost Analysis
. Support Strategic Planning and Capital Analysis, as well as M&A
activities.
. Responsible for Cash Flow Management
. Responsible for the Corporate Insurance Program (Errors &
Omissions and Director & Officers)
. Will give input to the ERM Committee
. Work with the CFO in establishing a new non-New York State
domiciled entity (49 & 1) that will be used for new product development.
. Support the CFO in migrating the company from an investment
company orientation to a more insurance product orientation.
EXPERIENCE:
. Must have insurance industry experience within an Annuity or Life
company to adequately administer the complexities of the position.
. Must be a CPA with a graduate degree preferred.
. Must have demonstrated experience in Statutory reporting,
inclusive of NYS, GAAP Accounting Principles, SEC and Management Reporting,
Financial and Operational Controls.
. Proficient in Fair Value accounting.
. Proficient in planning, analysis and budgeting a must.
. Strong knowledge of financial systems and adept at profitability
systems.
. Working knowledge of actuarial concepts greatly preferred.
. History of staff development and mentoring.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation will depend upon experience necessary to satisfy the
requirements of the position. Compensation package includes a competitive
base and a performance bonus, plus potential for equity (stock options) and
benefits.

Our client is looking for a senior business analyst that has experience with
Learning Management Systems (LMS).
The analyst would help an organization prepare an RFP that they can send out
to LMS suppliers. This would involve analyzing their current and future
technical environment and needs and the ability to prepare technical
specifications and requirements to be fulfilled by the LMS. There would be
three or four trips to Chicago involved with a couple of them being nearly
full weeks.
