Client: IBM
Job description: Monitor and comply with standards and Best Practices for Software QA. Implement improvements in test methods and strategies. Develop test plans and strategies Provides testing expertise to the testing group(s) consisting of both IT and Business people. Ability to discuss, mentor and or train testers on general testing techniques Gathers metrics in the form of defect counts, test pass rates and other meaningful data for presentation to management Interact with business analysts, developers and end users across multiple workstreams to review requirements Prepare test cases Lead test case execution Support project manager in defining tasks, efforts and durations for assigned projects. Identify opportunities for test automation
Required skills: 5 or more years of professional IT QA testing experience Hands on experience with automated testing tools Strong knowledge and experience with eCommerce and Web Site testing and development Strong Communication Skills & Presentation Skills
Assignment period: 4 months + High probability of extension
Location: Secaucus, NJ – Expenses will be provided if you're non local.
Standard IBM expenses for W2 consultants are as follows:
· Flight to and fro (Weekly, biweekly or monthly, depending on your choice) between the consultants' hometown and the work location (you can choose when you want to fly back and forth & the specific airlines out of the options we provide. All the airlines will be IBM approved) – Collabera will be doing it for you in advance – Agree or Not?
· Hotel stay or Extended Stay at work location (You can choose one from the list of IBM Approved Hotels) - Collabera will be doing it for you in advance – Agree or Not?
· Rental Car (or personal car mileage) – You must use your own credit card – Collabera will reimburse it for you – Agree or Not.
· Daily meals (limited amount depending on the location of project) - You must use your own credit card – Collabera will reimburse it for you – Agree or Not.
· Miscellaneous Expenses (Shuttle from Airport to home / hotel or other way) - You must use your own credit card – Collabera will reimburse it for you – Agree or Not.
· Extra baggage – Expenses will not be reimbursed - Agree or Not.
Whenever expenses are being covered by IBM, the following guidelines apply:
· W2 Consultants must get all receipts in order to claim expenses and be reimbursed for them.
· For W2 Consultants, COLLABERA shall book the flight tickets and the Hotel, but the consultants would have to pay for their personal or rental car, shuttle and the meals and send in an expenses report to COLLABERA to claim those expenses.
