Job Summary:
Responsible for leading project teams to accomplish project objectives and ensure that projects are completed in scope, on time and within budget, following EdisonLearning¡¦s project management methodology, standards, tools, processes and reporting mechanisms. May also manage programs.

Main Responsibilities:

„« Project Planning and Execution: Assist in the preparation of project charters and related cost estimates as requested to obtain project approval. Develop Work Breakdown Structures from scope documents. Prepare critical path schedules. Provide direction and support to the project team members to ensure projects are executed and completed in accordance to the expectations of senior management. Establish a common understanding of project timelines, milestones, and expectations on delivery using a combination of PMO templates and feedback received from sponsor and other key stakeholders. Drive appropriate business decisions within the team. Effectively manage project communications, meetings and documentation. Manage vendors to conform to contract requirements.
„« Monitoring and Tracking: Identify, track and manage action items as needed for each assigned project or program. Manage schedule, scope and budget changes per PMO processes. Prepare status reports showing such information as targeted compared to actual percent complete for management. Responsible for the documentation of customer acceptance of project deliverables.
„« Scope Management: Identify and manage scope changes and project issues, recommend appropriate action, and implement recommendations or escalate issues as needed to avoid delay or other impact to delivery. Validate the scope documents mapping to elicited requirements.
„« Risk Analysis and Management: Conduct risk analysis, develop appropriate action plans to address and track risks against progress. Partner with project team and clients to identify and select solutions that maintain quality

Internally: Able to develop strong cross functional relationships and credibility within EdisonLearning across all functional departments. Works closely with project team members as assigned.
Externally: May oversee consultants and/or vendors performance to ensure completion of project milestones.

„« Minimum of 4 years of extensive IT project management experience (including knowledge of networks, telephony, corporate wide change initiatives, and client or business start-up and contract completion)
„« PMP Certification highly preferred
„« Uses industry PM practice standards
„« Demonstrated results in creating and managing complex project plans, including experience in managing timely completion of long-term projects
„« Deep understanding of risk management inclusive of root cause analysis
„« Prior experience providing counsel and management support to client teams and executives strongly preferred
„« Experience collaborating with wide range of key stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks and organizational inefficiencies in order to execute process improvement and manage change appropriately

Job Description:Business Analyst/Performance Measurement Lead
 
-         This position will be a lead in the governance and oversight of a line of business balanced scorecard process while supporting the utility level scorecard processes as required.
-         The position specifically supports the governance of the balanced scorecard, related initiatives, analytics, benchmarking and diagnostics process.
-         Leads the scorecard quality review process and process documentation efforts in support of process excellence. Completes assigned quarterly, monthly and weekly reporting requirements.
-         Gathers and links data from diverse sources and analyses to identify metrics, drivers, correlations, performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
-         Prepares reports related to scorecard metrics and initiatives.
-         Supports the benchmarking efforts, Client setting and goal development process inclusive of MICP, PIP, scorecard, Division and District level targets and goals.
-         Interfaces personally with executive Leadership, process owners and management to support and obtain feedback on all elements of the balanced scorecard process.
-         Attends the line of business level SLT meetings in the GO or field locations.
-         Develops and maintain databases, spreadsheets, etc. and supports the implementation of new tools and technologies using process improvement tools and techniques.
 
Required:
• BA or BS Degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated organization and high level of analytical and quantitative skills. Must have extensive proven proficiency with MS Office Products, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and experience in Benchmark Studies. Demonstrated ability to develop new approaches with applicable tools to measure success. Demonstrated detail orientation and ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to work across department boundaries.
• Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity.
• Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
• Must have a driver's license
 
Desired:
• Masters/MBA or in progress.
• Broad knowledge about the utility a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge of SAP, DWMS, CMMS, OMS and other applications.
• Training in database development or programming.
