JOB SUMMARY
The Customer Service Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of all customer service functions within a specific region. The primary responsibility is to provide outstanding customer service to the dealer base by offering exceptional quality, a knowledgeable and responsive staff, and superior problem resolution. This position is responsible for assisting the Customer Service Manager with all customer service related matters, and shall assume all responsibilities during absences and vacations.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Process/ Project Management:
* Support the Customer Service Manager by assisting in the management of customer interactions, development of the staff, monitoring service, and implementing and directing standard operating procedures.
* Ensures customer service deliverables are provided as appropriate to internal and external customers. Identifies new opportunities for adding value and maintains leading-edge knowledge of customer service issues.
* Create solutions for complex customer service issues and become proactive in resolving negative service trends. Work closely with counterparts in functional and cross-functional teams to improve service.
* Develop expertise in internal systems, departments, policies, and procedures. Make recommendations, as appropriate to change/ enhance. 
* Maintains adequate product knowledge and Certifications in order to be effective in leading customer service responsibilities. 
People Management:
* Monitor and evaluate performance relative to customer service goals and objectives, analyze variances, develop and drive action plans, and report on key performance metrics.
* Drive people processes (performance and talent management) to ensure employees' level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Support development and enhancement of leadership capabilities that drive individual/ team performance against goals.
* Develop internal contact points and maintain solid relationships with management, sales and marketing teams, finance, and operations to ensure relevant information is delivered and communicated to all other departments.
* Identifies and works to eliminate barriers to accuracy, efficiency and quality within the contact center. Communicates with the Customer Service Manager on opportunities for improvement and new and innovative ways to manage the operation.
* Support the ongoing process to recruit, lead, train, coach, motivate and develop a highly-skilled technical customer service team.

 SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises one or more employees in the Customer Service Department.  Carry's out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning, delegating, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and applyingprogressive discipline with employees, addressing staff complaints, and conflict resolution.

Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and design issues. Work assignments are typically focused on a single business process and key products for the organization. Ability to work independently. May manage relationships with suppliers/vendors.

Principle Accountabilities:
• Serves as technical expert overseeing application architecture for solution designs including software development / infrastructure teams.
• Acts as SME for project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of IT solutions.
• Advises teams of Co standard requirements, security standards, methodology and processes.
• Drives short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments.
• Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
• Communicates and validates program architecture with Chief Architect, program / project manager, executive level stakeholders and enterprise architects.

Experience and skills requirements:
• BS and 6 + years or equivalent
• Knowledge of standards in IT architecture and infrastructure
• Ability to develop enterprise guidelines and standards
• Knowledge of the software development process and how it fits within the IT architecture and infrastructure
• Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs
• Knowledge of enterprise platforms and operating systems
• Understanding of Co Information Security Policy and Procedures how they fit within the IT architecture and infrastructure
• Stong collaboration skills. Ability to interact with and provide architectural design guidance to IT leaders and project teams made up of employee and/or supplier resources.

Team Overview:
The FP&A team is responsible for deriving, analyzing and interpreting business results to facilitate decision making throughout the organization and drive accountability.  General areas of responsibility for the team include:
-          Evaluating financial results (actual, forecast, budget),  including analysis of variance and trend, business drivers and headcount
-          Managing financial processes, both across and on behalf of the organization, including monthly forecast, annual budget and intercompany allocations
-          Producing recurring business reporting packages (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly), including support for internal management, committee meetings and external auditors
-          Administering Portfolio Manager compensation, including pro-forma analytics for proposed changes to compensation terms, unit contribution analyses and support for capital allocations
-          Reviewing and managing financial hierarchies
-          Providing ad hoc analytics as required

Individual Responsibilities:
-          Proficiently use internal databases and systems for effective data retrieval and reporting
-          Proactively design and deliver relevant analytics to address key business needs
-          Implement efficient, repeatable processes for creating and updating deliverables
-          Recognize opportunities for best practices both within the team and across the organization
-          Participate in various team and department projects and analytics, as needed
-          Primary responsibilities to include management reporting deliverables, i.e. expense management, monthly forecast process, allocations
 
Qualifications:
-          Bachelor's Degree, preferably with some coursework in finance, economics, or statistics
-          4-8 years relevant work experience with increasing responsibilities
-          Experience with management reporting; experience with consulting, financial planning or strategy a plus
-          Knowledge of the financial services industry
-          Proficient in innovative problem solving and efficient process design when analyzing complex information
-          Self-motivated with initiative and drive to meet required deadlines
-          Analytically minded with uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy
