diagrams, proto-type presentations suitable for conducting user experience
tests, codes, modules, data-base schema and stored procedures.
- Develops application code including database stored procedures,
application logic, and user interfaces.
- Works with data architects, programmers and data-base administrators to
assure adherence to standards. This includes code reviews, iterative
quality assurance (QA) testing, interoperability testing and post
implementation monitoring strategies.
- Oversees and ensures proper maintenance and day-to-day operation of all
department functions.

- Develops, implements and upholds department and Firm policies and
procedures.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with clients,
attorneys and staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 2007 to new Exchange 2010
infrastructure. The primarily role of this position is to rollout the new
infrastructure design to production and migrate all mailboxes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with various stakeholders as we move through the project lifecycle.
Review Exchange 2010 infrastructure design.
Develop test plans to validate functionality.
Integrate Exchange 2010 with Exchange 2007 and third party applications:
Sendmail, directory services, email backup and archival, email policy
management and various types of Exchange clients.
Install Exchange servers and its supporting infrastructure.
Migrate mailboxes and services from Legacy to the new environment.
Develop operational processes and procedures in order to support the
product effectively once in production.
Proactively support services through continual service improvement.
Ensure compliance of solutions to regulatory standards.
KNOWLEDGE /EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7+ years of IT experience with significant technical,
integration and operational experience in messaging products and services.
5+ years of hands-on Exchange design and/or operational experience in
large enterprise organizations.
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of the following:
Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 user migrations (20,000+ users)
Good understanding of the Hub Transport setup and configuration (Email
Routing)
Should understand what the CAS is used for in E2K10 and how to configure in
a large environment.
Exchange High Availability and capacity planning (E2K10 Database
Availability Group)
Very good understanding of Powershell and other administration scripting
tools
ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Minimal Supervision / Self starter
Must have strong ability to solve technical problems especially related
to data flow and data updates
Understands and can apply data modeling and process modeling techniques
Demonstrable collaborative and communications skills.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007 and 2010.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, SAN, Active Directory,
monitoring products and backup applications.
Strong knowledge of ITIL or other framework .
Knowledge in project management.
Knowledge in archiving and email policy management.
Experience with products such as Microsoft Identity Integration Server
(MIIS), databases, , Orchestria, ZANTAZ Extended Email Storage, Solaris

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL
