*IT SECURITY PRE-SALES SYSTEMS

Locations: San Mateo CA, Florida, Georgia, Cincinnati, Denver, Boston,
Toronto, McLean VA, Baltimore MD

*REQUIREMENTS:*

- 3+ years of prior current/recent *pre-sales systems engineering
experience for an IT security sw vendor*
- *Network Security Architectur*e experience
- Hands on experience with *Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) like
Cisco, Snort, McAfee ISS, or Sourcefire *
- Hands on experience implementing *AntiVirus / Anti-Malware*
products (*McAfee,
Symantec, Cisco, ISS, TrendMicro, Sourcefire*, etc)
- Hands on Experience with *Firewalls *
- Experience with* SNORT*
- Strong and current *Linux/ Unix* experience along with basic* perl,
shell or C scripting* for configuration
- Strong *presentation skills* - verbal and written with the ability to
clearly deliver value propositions to C-level executives, as well as
training users on products
- Current experience with *Endpoint Security Solutions*
- Current / Recent experience *working for an IT Security Software
Manufacturer or Reseller* in a pre-sales role
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to travel up to 50% to customer sites

*DESCRIPTION*
The selected candidate will work closely with the Sales team and delivery
team to provide pre-sales security systems engineering support. The SE will
meet with customers, gather requirements, design Proof of Concepts focused
around Endpoint Security solutions like Anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall,
and intrusion prevention solutions. They will present these solutions to
customers at the C-level as well as the technical management level. This
person will also present solutions at industry conferences and trade shows
and delivery end user training on how to implement, configure, and manage
end point security solutions - Anti-virus, anti-malware, intrusion
prevention and firewall software solutions. This person must be business
savy and able to deliver ROI's and Value Propositions to key decision
makers. They also may be involved in responding to RFI's and RFPs.

Compensation is based on proven level of experience and ranges between
100-140K base + bonus / 175K+ OTE uncapped potential
