We are conducting an executive search for the Vice President of Operations—Technical Services. The new VP must be an Oracle super user. Must have a conceptually deep understanding of Oracle and what works and doesn't work. Must have significant experience running a large Oracle database. Must have familiarity with data center operations and running all the operations to support it. The new VP of Operations will be responsible for Technical Services, Support and Account Management. Must have recent and significant experience managing numerous data centers as a Vice President/Director of Operations (or equivalent) for an Oracle technology group or implementation group. Must be able to outline a record of success managing Oracle data centers. This position will be headquartered in Northern New Jersey. Working remotely is not an option. Candida tes must already live within commuting distance to Northern NJ (about an hour from NYC), or be flexible to relocate. Our client is a very successful, firmly entrenched I.T. hosting and consulting firm—with an emphasis on the full suite of Oracle applications. Known for their extreme service and exceedingly high customer retention rates, the company – led by its original founder- has been profitable from inception. With almost 100 employees internationally the company is now moving aggressively into the Enterprise Cloud space. Many of their current competitors have been recently acquired. They are ramping up their executive team, targeting incremental, YOY double digit growth, and looking for a leader who will literally transform their human capital acquisition, retention and development processes—both domestically and in India—in order to foster a high performance culture to meet future growth needs. & nbsp; The new VP will have approximately 60 people reporting to him/her initially. About a third of this person's employees will be located in Mumbai, the rest in New Jersey. Will need to travel to Mumbai, India 2-4 times a year.
