My direct client has an immediate need for an IS Executive Director.
Location: Hanover Township, NJ
Duration: PERM
This position is responsible for the overall management and strategic
planning of information technology and systems, staff of 20 including 200
end-users in 8 locations.
The IS ED provides the leadership, direction and management of all phases
of the company's Information Systems strategic and technical planning,
execution of business-specific applications, technology project governance,
organizational management and development, and financial budgeting and
control, and has an overall responsibility for information management and
information technology.
The ED defines the strategy for implementation of business-critical
information systems, technical infrastructure and service delivery,
ensuring compliance with Group IS Policies and Standards. The role holder
will manage a team of I.S. professionals, who deliver and support business
applications and the technical infrastructure.
Principal Strategic accountabilities:
- Strategic Planning - Participate in the company's strategic planning
process and share in the development of the company's vision, goals and
initiatives.
- Spearhead the development of innovative IS solutions for the
organization's marketing initiatives. This includes driving full life-cycle
projects, from conceptualization to implementation, application and
infrastructure maintenance.
- Ensure the IS strategic plans and objectives are responsive to the
needs of the company's growth and vision. Ensure compliance with Group
standards and policies. This includes documenting and communicating
procedures for all relevant systems and collaborating with
internal/external auditors to identify and deal with elements of
non-compliance.
- Continuous Research & Development of emerging I.S. technologies and
determine its application within the business.
- Continuous improvement of Quality, Customer-focus and Customer
Relationships.
- Identify opportunities for I.S. improvements and contribute to
business process improvements, advise mgmt of enhancements
- Ensure maximum performance and availability of all information systems.
- Experience with AS400 and RPG platform.
- Manage the logistical operation of IS equipment for all retail sites.
- Define standards and procedures around Information Management, Project
Delivery, Investment Planning and Technical Infrastructure. Changes to
these standards should be coordinated with Group IS.
- Plan, deliver and support business applications. This will include
implementation of Global Core Group Solutions and providing recommendations
to Group IS and regional Management about local solutions, meeting specific
local requirements.
- Experience and skills:
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in a sophisticated
international I.S. environment, dealing with information management,
technical infrastructure, service delivery and business-critical software
applications.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role within a commercial
business (retail business a strong plus) environment.
- Experienced in the selection and implementation of software, hardware
and I.S. services, utilizing RPG and AS400 platform.
- Understand emerging technologies and market trends in the I.S.
discipline and be able to apply these in the Retail industry. Strategic
understanding of the industry and associated issues.
Education/Background:
- Graduate Degree in Information Technology, Business Management,
Business Economics or equivalent from a reputable university in the USA or
abroad.
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication, documentation and
presentation skills.
- Communicate technical concepts and terminology to senior management
- Challenged to meet the needs of a continuously changing business
environment and changing technological infrastructure.
- Evidence of strong negotiation/persuasion skills effectively
influencing outcomes.

Senior Support Engineer will have responsibility for support and
maintenance of Citizens Bank's critical Microsoft Windows Server
Infrastructure. This individual works on the Wintel Infrastructure Support
Team and works in conjunction with multiple technology groups and business
units to maintain a stable, robust server environment. The Senior Support
Engineer must be able to work independently with the ability to work with
others in a widely disbursed and fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities/Duties:
•Develop and maintain service availability metrics/statistics and internal
team documentation
•Handle Tier 3 calls escalated from the Technology Service Center and
provide 7X24 on call support on a rotating basis for the server environment
•Provide support, or participate in after-hours activities such as upgrades
and implementations that may occur on evenings or weekends
•Maintain servers located in all Citizens Bank locations
•Timely escalation of issues to senior management and to vendor resources
•Monitor, troubleshoot and repair all server hardware and o/s problems
•Develop automation for daily manual tasks to increase efficiencies

Qualifications:
•Minimum 5+ years experience supporting Information Technology in a large
enterprise environment
•Must be detail oriented with exceptional problem solving and
communications skills; including the development of internal documentation
•Must be able to complete tasks/assignments as part of the team and also
manage individual tasks/assignments, milestones and deliverables to
successful completion; requiring only minimal guidance
•Must demonstrate critical thinking, indentify support trends and develop
appropriate action plans to address potential support issues and be able to
leverage peers and other technology resources to resolve support issues
•Proven hands-on experience in deploying, supporting and troubleshooting
Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-site, multi-OU environment
•Must have 5+ years in hands-on administrative/maintenance in a multi-site,

Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer who will be part of
the Network Operations Team that administers, maintains and supports the
security, availability and performance of the systems. Responsibilities:
. Exercise knowledge of internet firewalling through the support of
the company firewalls, particularly Cisco ASA and Juniper firewalls running
JUNOS.
. Ensure the highest possible availability of the global network
through a good understanding of internet routing protocols, particularly
OSPF and BGP and enterprise switching based on Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS.
. Maintain the company's various remote access VPN systems.
. Ensure that the system problems are investigated diagnosed and
resolved.
. Exercise knowledge of the network management and monitoring
applications and protocols.
. Interface with customers and internal engineering teams to
maintain a first class service
. Provide root cause analyst date to engineering in relation to
issues within the global network and follow to resolution.
. Interface regularly and work closely with other members of the
Network Operations Team.
. Proactively manager day to day support issues to resolution.
Required Skills
