Job Title : Project Manager
Location : Bedminster, NJ
Duration : 6 months Contract
Project Manager – Project Management that has worked in Drug Discovery projects in Pharmaceuticals that has a Technical Dashboard Report creation on Drug Discovery projects.
Must have Microsoft Project experience to manage the and create the projects.
This individual will:
Be skilled in planning, leading and managing the activities of complex cross-functional activities and submission time lines
Be familiar with cross discipline project management systems (ideally Microsoft Project) and processes, including creating a strategic project plan and project dashboard to support all line functions Involved in drug development
Have considerable experience in collaborating with project team leaders to address deviations which could affect meeting the project plan goals
Establish project plans, identifying the critical path items and the interlinks between the activities for each program across line functions (- e.g. preclinical, clinical, commercial, regulatory, and intellectual property)
Monitor the ongoing major and critical path activities to ensure alignment with (or correction of) the program strategy & plan document
Be familiar with managing traditional team deliverables such as schedules, reports, agendas and meeting minutes
Be scientifically grounded with a strong knowledge of the drug development process.
Experience of product launch management would also be useful.
Basic Job Requirements
Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences
Experience:
Broad pharmaceutical industry experience with early, mid and late stage clinical development and regulatory submissions.
5+ years of pharmaceutical industry or related experience, with 2-3 years of direct project management experience
Specific skills:
Proven track record of Project Management leadership and skill sets
Detailed understanding of all components of the drug development process; ability to manage and maintain confidentiality
Knowledge with the output of Project Management tools (Microsoft Project) is required; previous responsibility for implementing effective reporting and dashboard functions is a plus
Highly developed communication skills
Skilled team player with a commitment to goals and a positive and "can do" approach to solving problems
Detailed oriented
Excellent organizational skills; highly process-oriented
