NYC Company is seeking for 2 very strong senior network engineers with 5-10 yrs of SAN and NAS admin experience. Must be very strong in MS Server 2005/2008 and be able to build and configure MS servers. Needs hands on experience designing and implementing storage solutions in a large enterprise environment including: High performance computing (HPC) and available SAN, NAS, CAS, and Archive/VTL tiered storage systems. Hospital CIO - Site Director / Medical Center Chief Information Officer
Job Description
We are seeking Hospital CIO – Site Director to ensure the clinical needs of the medical center are identified and implemented. As a Hospital CIO- Site Director at Bayonne Medical Center, you will manage the daily operations of the Information Services Department, including customer services, technical support, and project implementation. As the Hospital CIO –Site Director at Bayonne Medical Center, you will report to the Vice President and Chief Information Officer (VP/CIO) of our health care system, supervise Bayonne Medical Center's IT and Telecommunications staff, and be the site IT leader on the hospitals management team.
Tasks include:
· Assist in developing and administering the IT department's strategic plan, goals, and objectives, operating capital and staffing budgets in support of the corporate Strategic Plan.
· Champion system-wide project implementation to assist Bayonne Medical Center with resource needs, workflow changes, and expectation management.
· Work closely with the System's VP/CIO and other key leadership in developing, implementing, and administrating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and other contractual requirements.
· Provide leadership in the selection, implementation, and operation of new computer technology.
Job Responsibilities
As a Hospital CIO- Site Director with Bayonne Medical Center, you will oversee the back office computer operations of affiliate management information systems, including LAN/WAN. You will also manage voice, data, imaging, and office automation; develop and implement user training programs; oversee and evaluate system security and back up procedures. You will also oversee the linkage between external technology systems (e.g. government, vendors, and other health care organizations) and the medical center's IT resources, including systems for electronic data exchange.
Additional responsibilities include:
· Develop and maintain system architecture, defining standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software, and interconnection of health care network information systems
· Coordinates reporting needs and data analysis for the medical center in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner
· Manage the system that provides training and support to end users, including user manuals, FAQ's. and help files.
· Communicates Information Technology plans, policies, and technology trends throughout Bayonne Medical Center, including management groups and professional staff.
Job Requirements
As a Hospital CIO - Site Director with Bayonne Medical Center, you must understand the terminology, business process, and user issues related to using computer systems in the assigned areas of responsibility, have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and have broad knowledge of major health system functions and organizational relationships. You must be able to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors, and System staff at all levels. Excellent organizational and documentation skills are required.
Requirements include:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or healthcare related field.
· Specialized training in health care financial and clinical information systems, networks, and information system security required. HIPAA/HITECH audit experience preferred.
· 5+ years experience in healthcare information systems management. MEDITECH 6.0 experience preferred.
