Our endclient (Banking/financial) is looking for a consultant in NYC (Downtown) : Strongly desired - Open VMS platform experience. They do not have to be a programmer, but must have experience with Open VMS. The candidate must have experience to "author" or "create" both business and functional requirements documents. Not: "participated in" or "have working knowledge" of these are unacceptable. Additionally, knowledge of foreign exchange operations has become mandatory. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Nice to have would be knowledge of Viveo (Vendor Software package) and Visio, SWIFT and Montran. • Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with business areas and IT departments • Knowledge of multi currency payments processing; Customer payments in the foreign exchange market at least 3 years experience • Software Development Life Cycle knowledge and project management experience or working on a project team • Works closely with business areas to plan, define and design IT solutions; • Follow formal software development lifecycle during all phases of a project; • Reports to a project leader.
