PROJECT MANAGER Our Firm - a premier ecommerce, design, and development agency - is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing organization. Our Project Managers lead interactive engagements; direct cross-functional teams including Creative and Technology through the project lifecycle; interface with clients; and are ultimately responsible for managing the successful execution and implementation of projects within published timeframes and defined budgets. Key responsibilities: · Gather requirements (business, functional, technical) · Plan projects by defining scope (based upon requirements and deliverables) ; creating work-based schedules; mapping out resource requirements; and developing comprehensive budgets · Serve as primary client interface on a daily basis for project-specific communications (via email, phone calls, meetings) · Continually and consistently manage against "living" project plans and defined budgets · Continually and consistently monitor and report upon project progress and budget usage · Facilitate regular status meetings (internal and external); maintain periodic status reports · Manage cross-functional teams (strategy, user experience, information architecture, creative, and technology) · Adopt, enforce, and otherwise contribute to overall improvement and quality of Ai's processes · Interface directly with senior-level clients (when necessary and appropriate) · Actively manage project-related issues; plan contingencies for project- Skills/qualificatio ns: · Minimum 5 years of experience in website development · experience managing development & delivery of large transactional systems in collaboration with experienced technical teams · some knowledge of SEO best practices · "tech awareness" as reflected in a basic knowledge of common system components (application server, database server, admin server, firewall) · Proven organizational skills and meticulous attention-to- detail · High proficiency with general project management principles, methods, and tools · High proficiency with project planning and budget development · Strong familiarity with the SDLC or digital | interactive development lifecycle · Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively with limited management oversight · Strong business writing skills (required); strong technical writing skills (preferred) · Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally · Strong familiarity with the state of the Web from a business and aesthetic perspective · Solid understanding of and dedication to the Interactive medium · High proficiency with MS Office software including MS Project · Familiarity with the following technologies are a plus: Java / Hibernate / Spring; Django / Python; OFBiz (Apache Open for Business Project); Linux, Subversion; PHP / Symfony; MySQL ------------ ------- SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (Major Hedge Fund)
· Participate in building and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports --------- applications from a server, SAN, Citrix and connectivity perspective. · Work closely with business users, application support teams and development groups diagnosing and resolving advanced Windows, Citrix, and ESX related problems · Work closely with client IT departments and internal IT teams in the planning and deployment of client hosted systems to ensure their successful implementations without disruption. · Become an expert in Systems Operations providing technical guidance and advice on best practices to clients and internal employees who will support the application systems · Compile and maintain troubleshooting documentation for Windows, Microsoft Clustering, ESX, SAN, and Citrix architecture · Assist with definition and execution of ongoing administration and maintenance plans, procedures, and operations · Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work process and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service · Conceptualizing, building, and deploying systems management tools and automation technologies for an ESX, Windows, and Citrix environment · Participate in a weekly (after hours 24x7) on-call systems and application support rotation · Provide 2nd level support services for internal users and all --------- clients
Requirements
