Strongly desired - Open VMS platform experience. They do not have to be a programmer, but must have experience with Open VMS.

The candidate must have experience to "author" or "create" both business and functional requirements documents. Not: "participated in" or "have working knowledge" of these are unacceptable. Additionally, knowledge of foreign exchange operations has become mandatory. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Nice to have would be knowledge of Viveo (Vendor Software package) and Visio, SWIFT and Montran.

€ ¢â' ¢ Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with business areas and IT departments

€ ¢â' ¢ Knowledge of multi currency payments processing; Customer payments in the foreign exchange market at least 3 years experience

About the Presenters

Heather Maitre has been with KPMG for 8 years and was originally hired to pioneer e-Learning within the firm. Heather's responsibilities were later expanded to include pioneering a measurement function. KPMG has been externally recognized with a ranking of two in Training Magazine's Top 125 rankings, received four e-Learning awards and two in 2009 from Corporate University Exchange and Bersin and Associates for learning measurement strategy and execution. Prior to KPMG, Heather was an Information Technology Director at Columbia University. She implemented some of the first web-based academic information systems and "Smart" classrooms, just prior to the "dot com" era. Heather graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from Pace University and holds a master's degree from Columbia University in industrial/organizational psychology.€ ¢Â 
Nancy Barnes has more than 15 years' experience in interactive learning design, specializing in the design and development of blended learning and e-Learning solutions. Nancy is currently a Manager of Technology-Based Learning at KPMG. Some of her prior roles include serving as Senior Learning Manager at Toys "R" Us, Inc., and as a learning solutions manager for the ABAS Learning Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she had opportunities to develop programs for global audiences of over 135,000 participants. She also has extensive experience in designing creative sessions on topics such as leadership development, client relationship management, and workflow process improvement. Nancy holds a master's degree in education from California State University at East Bay and a master's in cinema from New York University.
Brandon Murray has been with KPMG's Technology-Based Learning (TBL) Team as an associate for over two years. He is part of "Team Creatology" within TBL, with a specialty in gaming and multimedia/interactivity in the virtual classroom.

Business Analyst in Credit-Flow/ Structure Credit IT area

We are looking for a motivated, detailed individual who will help define the business/technical requirements for the Credit(flow/ structured) trading areas including corporate bond, single name/indexed CDS, structured CDS, Loan CDS and more. This individual will interact with the traders, business managers, risk managers, operations, systems development control teams, IT development leaders and developers to gather functional specifications and ensure that our projects requirements are documented and implemented effectively. Some project management is part of the role.

This is a good position for someone who wants a mixture of business and technology working directly with both the business units, vendors and development staff.

Business skills:

1) Good knowledge of Credit products (preferably Corporate Bonds, all types of Credit Default Swaps (single-name/ basket/etc. )).

2) 3 - 7 years of good/proven business analysis experience. Candidate is expected to be hands on for all the tasks.

3) Good ability to write functional specifications.

4) Prior experience working closely with traders before is a huge plus.

Technical skills required: (all not necessary but should have working

experience with most)

€ ¦· Good knowledge of MS-Windows(Word, MS-Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)

€ ¦· Knowledge of software development process. Actual development a plus.

€ ¦· Experience with navigating around Windows and UNIX operating systems.

Other skills required:

1) Good communication skills. Must be able to work with various types of staff including traders/sales force/risk managers/finance/ operations/ etc.. Will work often with the in-house development staffs and the staff of vendor systems we use.

2) Excellent writing skills.

3) Good analytical skills.
