Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Enrico Guillaume and represent an
organization called GoodTemps which is a Division of Goodwill Industries of
Greater NY and Northern NJ. We place people throughout Northern NJ and
Greater NY in potential temporary staffing opportunities. We currently have
two job opportunities *in Harrison, NJ* for a *Case Manger* and a *Job
Developer/Job Coach*. *The candidate must have a proven track
record.*These positions may well pay between $15 to $18 an hour based
on
experience. The assignment will run roughly 6 – 12 weeks with the
likelihood of extension.

*Case Manager*

Duties:

Perform comprehensive intakes with participants from the reentry population
and assist them with support services and work readiness prep in order to
ensure successful completion of program objectives. Build strong rapport
with participants, referrals sources, parole and community partners and/or
resources. Advocate for participants as needed and have knowledge about
community resources available within Newark/Essex County which provide
assistance with housing, food, clothing, furniture, utilities, childcare,
etc. Maintain computer based case notes and data entry in order to ensure
compliance and track monthly contact and outcomes.

Requirements:

BA preferred with Human Service experience but not required. Computer
knowledge required – must maintain management information system as required
by funding source. Excellent communication skills. Flexible and organized
– must be able to handle caseload of up to 75 participants. Experience with
ex-offenders a plus.

*Job Developer/ Job Coach*

Duties:

Develop employment opportunities and place participants into competitive
employment. Be familiar and aware of labor opportunity market demand for
re-entry population. Build and maintain employer relations & contacts.
Ensure employer satisfaction with program, placement services, and
candidates. Act as liaison with local business community and local One-Stop
Career Centers. Ensure client retention on the job; maintain employer
contact regarding participants' progress. Troubleshoot any employment
issues/challenges; maintain employer satisfaction; work closely with mentors
to provide support and guidance for participants.

Qualifications:

Must have valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle. Sales
background and/or 6-12 months of working with ex-offenders preferred.
HS/GED. Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills required.
Knowledge of web based/ internet job search engines. Flexible work schedule
- must be able to travel to work sites. Good problem solving skills and
excellent communication skills.
