Position Responsibilities – Summary

· Manages the activities related to the design, procurement, testing
and operations in support of server related technical projects.
· Oversees the daily activities of direct reports. Coaches and
mentors staff towards career development.
· Manages, maintains and implements applications/technologies and
associated systems standards.
· Negotiates and establishes vendor business partner relationships
to ensure best pricing and service level delivery.
· Establishes and maintains budgets and associated expenditures
along with acquisition methodologies for assigned applications/technologies,
purchases and maintenance.
· Evaluates and acquires new/upgraded software and hardware
technologies that offer competitive advantages or productivity gains in
delivery of information and system services to the end user computing
community.
· Provides inter and interdepartmental communication concerning all
computing standards and future strategic directions. Sets standards
concerning specific corporate direction in relation to assigned applications
and technologies.
· Other duties as assigned.

Manager of Technical Services - Global Infrastructure

Required Skills and Competencies:
· 8+ years Information Technology experience in large data center,
distributed, multi-location, multi-protocol, networked environment.
· 5+ years of management experience – Needs to be hands-on
technically
· Experience building Windows Based Servers.
· Experience with VMware, Citrix, Active Directory and Clustering.
· Experience with the acquisition and management of technology
including midrange, desktop and other hardware, software and network related
areas.
· Extensive technical experience in current infrastructure
technologies used at the firm. These technologies include, but are not
limited to: Mainframe, Servers, Desktops, Peripherals, Wireless Devices,
Miscellaneous Appliances, Storage Devices, Operating Systems, Utilities,
Monitoring Tools, Software Packages, Networks, etc.
· Experience in current development methodologies, audit and SOX
compliance, security practices, middleware, change management compliance,
database technology, etc.
· Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems and associated
technologies including both current technologies and future trends for
industry strategic hardware and software in the assigned environment.
· Ability to manage and adjust multiple priorities in a fast paced,
rapidly changing environment.
· Ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies and business
requirements.
· Cross platform technical knowledge.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Retail experience preferred but not mandatory.

Travel:

Very minimal, as necessary

The Senior Data Architect is responsible for and shows a demonstrated expert
level of technical and architectural proficiency in the design and
development of enterprise-wide data and information architectures.

Manager of Technical Services - Architecture & Reporting Services

Key Responsibilities:

· Implements a master data management strategy to ensure a
consistent approach to enterprise architecture standards and to achieve
strategic business objectives.
· Performs vendor evaluations and recommends the implementation of
tools to design, store, maintain, enhance, and automate business data,
metadata, and analytical components.
· Works with functional business partners to ensure appropriate
terminology is applied to metadata for the locale and global classification
of data.
· Works with business architects to identify, define, and document
business processes, facilitating change throughout the enterprise.
· Participates in the development and implementation of the data
governance and master data management plan.
· Consults project teams on data architecture policies and best
practice procedures.
· Manages and develops a diverse, global direct and indirect team
for future growth within the department and organization.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Minimum experience required to perform this job.
· 5+ years of systems and technical architecture analysis, design,
implementation, and support of manual and automated database systems and
technical architectures – This is an Oracle Centric environment for the most
part.
· 3 years, or equivalent retails systems experience, as a Data
Architect and/or Senior Systems Manager
· Has successfully designed, implemented, and/or participated in
large-scale MDM and business intelligence solutions
· Has the ability to work in a matrix organization model
· Has strong presentation and collaborative skills and can
communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of
formal documentation
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience.

Minimum job skills required to perform this job.

· Expert and proven Master Data Management (MDM) professional who
facilitates, delivers, supports, and evangelizes all aspects of the MDM
program within a global application landscape, including ERP platforms,
middleware solutions, and integrated application data models
· Experienced in data modeling and design, data flow diagramming,
data warehousing and business intelligence, application and analytical
reporting tools and techniques, and service oriented data delivery
· Experienced in playing a leadership and mentoring role in
enterprise-wide data quality, business data stewardship, and data modeling
project assignments
· Knowledge of industry standard middleware, ETL, master data hub,
and service oriented architecture, design and delivery solutions
· Business analysis, process modeling, and a strong domain knowledge
of a global retail business a plus
· Exhibits a high energy, strategic thinking, results oriented,
global collaborative approach with highly tuned listening and communication
skills.

Travel:

Some travel is required for this role – Canada – UK – Estimated at 10-15%
max, probably less.

Position Responsibilities – Summary

The incumbent will play a critical role in the support and integration for
the mainframe infrastructure and vendor supplied software. He/she will work
closely with IT departments, divisional application development and the
end-user to assure successful software implementations and continued
effective use of installed computer resources. The incumbent will also
provide technical support and aid in problem determination and resolution.

Reports to the Manager of Operation System Services.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Excellent project management skills, familiarity with ITIL and
Prince2 or similar project management methodology preferred – Strong

· Experienced with Assembler Language
· Experience with Back Up and Disaster Recovery
· Experience with Capacity Planning, Trending and Utilization,
System Monitoring and Performance preferred
Flexible, able to adapt to change effectively
· Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while
managing multiple tasks
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as a team player
· Retail experience preferred but not Mandatory
