Position Responsibilities – Summary

This individual will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis,
testing, and project management in support of the Derivative Services
business group within Investment Administration.

This group is responsible for derivatives trade communication and
confirmation with our business process outsourcing partners, and other
industry vendors including Markit Trade Processing, MarkitWire, and DTCC.
This includes systems integration with Calypso, a cross-asset derivative
risk management and trading system. Reconciliation capabilities are also
provided for all of the above. In addition, the group is responsible for
Collateral Management to mitigate counterparty risk.

This position requires a high level of interaction with the business users
as well as excellent communication and delivery skills. The candidate
should have derivatives domain knowledge and experience supporting an
operations business group. This should include a good understanding of
different product types (e.g. OTC Options; Swaptions, IRS, CDS, and TRS
Swaps) as well as the typical derivatives trade life cycle.

This role will report to the Manager of Investment Administration (IA)
Applications within Information Services (IS).

Key Responsibilities;

· Work with business partners to define, analyze and document
requirements, as well as set priorities for new initiatives.
· Stay informed on derivatives industry and regulatory initiatives.
· Coordinate the work of systems analysts, software developers,
database architects and vendors to design and implement robust technical
solutions.
· Work with external IS service providers to optimize delivery and
provide quality solutions; manage consultants and coordinate contractor
staffing.
· Plan and perform functional testing of new systems and
enhancements.
· Provide ongoing support including issue tracking and status
reporting.
· Work with external Business Process Outsourcing providers to
optimize technology flows between the vendor and the firm.

Keys to this Position:

1. Must have excellent Systems Analysis, communication and presentation
skills in order to interface with the business.
2. This person should have some exp leading at least a team of 2 other
Analysts. They will also have the opportunity to lead 5 developers and 2
testers.
3. This person needs to have experience with Derivatives, specifically
SWAPS. They should be familiar with the lifecycle of a derivative trade
from end to end as well as the different types of Swaps. They should also
be familiar with Trade Communication, Affirmation/Confirmation, Settlements
and Payments, and Operational flows. In summary, the candidate needs to
understand operational flows as it pertains to derivatives.
4. Candidate must have SQL skills and Visio or other diagramming tools.

· Minimum 10 years experience in a financial services technology
environment.
· Derivatives domain knowledge, preferably in a middle/back office
context.
· Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills.
· Demonstrated experience in project management and business
analysis.
· Demonstrated experience in formal software development
methodologies.
· Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical
production environment with rapidly changing priorities.
· Change Agent, creative, innovative and focused on continuous
improvements.
· Bachelor's degree is required.
· Basic PL/SQL skills for data analysis a plus

The EDC-Middleware Delivery team seeks a Sr. Middleware Engineer who will be
responsible for the evaluation, design, build, and support of middleware
products.

This individual will be primarily responsible for building middleware
infrastructure and delivering application teams value-add services including
products evaluation, system design, performance tuning, capacity management,
and systems integration. The person will also be responsible for promoting
standard IT processes and architectural best practices.

Key Responsibilities;

As a Senior Middleware Engineer the candidate will have following
responsibilities:
· Work on the design, implementation, deployment, and support of the
middleware infrastructure
· Evaluate middleware product's features, upgrades and migration
path

configure middleware infrastructure
· Core Java and J2EE
· Application Servers: WebLogic, Oracle Fusion, WebSphere and Tomcat
· Other Technologies: Load Balancers, Web Servers and Java
development framework (e.g. Spring)
· Messaging: WebSphere MQ, Active MQ and JMS
· Database: Oracle 11g
· Good knowledge of ITIL practices - Configuration, Change and

· Strong Infrastructure Management background - capacity planning,

Required Skills and Competencies:
· 6+ years in middleware technologies including WebLogic, WebSphere,

· 2+ years in Java/JEE development

An experienced senior network engineer is needed to provide the Network
Services team with complimentary skills to support the user community.
Candidates will posses expertise in managing a complex LAN and WAN
environment across numerous business units and geographical locations.
Candidate should be experienced in advanced network deployment and support

Extremely strong logistical skills and the ability to manage many

This is a Senior level Network Engineer that requires the following
Technologies at the Engineering level:
Cisco, BGP, OSPF, F5, ACE (Cisco's application content engine) and
Riverbed's acceleration product. Infobox and Avaya are a big plus.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Advanced Working knowledge (from a management perspective) of
complex LAN and Wan environments, including VoIP. Cisco device programming
and troubleshooting including routers CatOS and IOS switches, ASA, ACE, CSS,
VPN and wireless. Knowledge of Riverbed Steelhead, Infoblox DNS and F5 DNS
is a plus. Avaya VoIP is a plus.
· Advanced working knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF and
BGP.
· 7+ years Cisco networking experience
· Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer
training and written documentation
· Strong inter-personal skills
· Positive customer service and team attitude (helping others when
required)
· Focused on quality

· Committed to continual improvement
· Willingness to travel as required to remote sites during large
deployments, as needed.
· Willingness to participate in on call rotation.
