Position Summary:

As a Senior Associate you will design and develop technology based business
solutions for our clients in the financial services and energy trading
industry. You may be required to play a team lead role for a small team
and/or take on responsibility for the development for a specific component
or track of the solution architecture. At all times you will actively
support the development, and drive quality assurance during design and
realization of the solution.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Support or lead design, estimation and planning tasks for the
solution using technical and functional expertise.
· Generate and review estimates, which include anticipated risks.
· Facilitate clients in meetings to capture business requirements
and develop solution design using best practice/design patterns.
· May be required to be hands-on developer for complex areas.
· May be required to support and enhance existing client
applications.
· Manage projects, people, and scope and be responsible for quality
for your development track/team throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
· Experience in WPF and/or Silverlight with WCF using MVC, MVP and
MVVM and RIA data/web services and familiarity with UI/UE design and
implementation.
· Significant, hands-on experience in solution design, architectural
analysis within trading systems (or similar).
· Proficient in Core C#/.NET fundamentals especially Collections,
GC, events and delegates, Multi-threading and Generics.
· Good understanding of financial and energy trading markets,
especially front and mid office within at least one asset class or product
type.
· Proficient understanding of new language features like LINQ and
lambda expressions.
· Significant experience in at least one IOC Container and Mock
Framework, NAnt and NUnit.
· Proficiency in one or more Relational Databases is highly
desirable: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase.
· Excellent knowledge of OOAD, UML, Design Patterns and Data
Structures.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· End-to-end experience in agile software development lifecycle.
· Ability to influence and negotiate with clients and team members.
· Project leadership skills including people management, scope and
plan management and tracking.
· Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns,
familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques.
· Openness to travel and work at client offices.

Position Responsibilities - Summary

The Senior Data Warehouse DBA will be responsible for partnering with
business owners and analysts to translate requirements into a complete Data
Warehouse and business intelligence solution.

The desired candidate will architect the logical/physical Data models,
define the ETL and MetaData repository approach and layout both a short-term
roadmap and long-term Warehouse strategy. The completed Warehouse
environment may consist of multiple disparate source systems to be
consolidated into a robust high performing, quality rich, scalable Data
foundation.

In addition to a strong Data warehousing background, the ideal candidate
will also possess a solid understanding of Enterprise BI solutions.

Position Responsibilities – Detailed

· Plans, coordinates and administers matters related to database(s),
including base definition, structures, documentation, upgrades, long-range
requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
· Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and
various support tools, such as base dictionaries.
· Establishes and maintains security integrity controls.
· Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards
relating to database management.
· May direct the following: troubleshooting, recovery, tuning of the
database, software installation and upgrades, resolving errors and failures,
auditing activities, and resource utilization.
· Creates and manages large scale, highly available production
databases under clustered environments.
· Willing to support production databases in a high quality and
dynamic environment. Occasional off-hours worked required.
· Hands on experience in using tools or custom scripts to monitor
the health of the database.
· Hands on experience with running and interpreting performance
monitoring utilities.
· Strong replication experience, in addition to backup and recovery
implementations either in a stand alone or using recovery man
· Defining ETL (extract, transform, and load) development standards
and conventions.
· Write and maintain database documentation, including data
standards, procedures, definitions for the data dictionary and logical and
physical models of the databases.
· Experience working with Systems Architects to proactively design
and optimize databases and their underlying hardware and OS platforms to
meet future capacity planning needs in a high growth environment.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 8 or more years experience with the target platform, generally
experienced in other DB platforms, including worked on Sun Solaris/Linux.
Strong UNIX shell scripting preferred.
· OCP 11g certification a plus.
· 3+ years Oracle RAC experience.
· Must have worked on Oracle 9i/10g/11g environments, and Must have
worked on (10G/11G RAC, ASM, OEM 10g grid, Data Guard , Flashback
technology, 9i/10g/11g upgrades, Rolling/Oracle critical patchset
implementation).
· Must have in depth knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence
Enterprise Edition and Oracle Data Integrator. Create conceptual, logical
and physical models (ERD, normalized and dimensional models).
· Knowledge of metadata management strategies and implementation,
Conduct requirements gathering and design sessions with customers, Produce
written deliverables for technical designs, Understanding of indexing,
partitioning and data design performance considerations for industry
standard DBMS (Oracle), Understanding of data warehousing design (ETL) and
development best practices. Ability to communicate effectively in a large
distributed software development organization.
· BS in a technical discipline.

The Senior Systems Business Analyst is responsible for successful
participation and leadership in projects of various sizes, impact and
complexity in support of the company's business plan. Principal duties
include eliciting and documenting functionality requirements for software
applications as well as providing peer reviews of requirements written by
other team members.

This individual will be called upon to lead requirement and brainstorming

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Act as the liaison between the technology groups and the Business
Customers
· Provide guidance and leadership to BA(s) and Project Teams
· Train, coach and mentor junior or new members of the team
· Fulfill the role of BA Lead while working on initiatives including
leading and facilit1ating meetings and working sessions.
· Determine the approach for gathering requirements and determine
the required deliverables for assigned projects
· Perform research and analysis to deliver high quality detailed
business requirements that can be understood by the business users and the
development teams.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelors Degree plus 6 years experience - Advanced degree
preferred.
· Experience includes working as a Business Analyst, Systems
Analyst, Project Manager or Quality Assurance Analyst.
· Must have domain expertise in the Property & Casualty Insurance
space.
· Project Lead experience required.
· With little supervision the Senior Systems Business Analyst must
be able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines while delivering high
quality, and positive outcomes resulting in high levels of customer
satisfaction.
· The successful candidate will have strong written, verbal and
presentation communication skills, have a thorough understanding of business
processes, the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, strong
analytical skills, as well as the ability to think abstractly, identify
patterns and use sound judgment to generate creative ideas and solutions.
· A Senior Business Analyst will be required to be well versed in
both the business and technology domains in order to make sound decisions in
the use of automated solutions.
· This role requires innovative thinking, the ability to resolve
conflict and demonstrated success leading and motivating others.
