Educational Background
·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or

Job Requirements
·        5-7 years demonstrated knowledge and successful application of project

·        Prior experience in managing large scale and complex projects (> $200K
of spend on contractor resources) using a project management tool/s.
·        Solid understanding of project management methologies such as Agile
and Waterfall.
·        Solid understanding of the software development life cycle in a fast
pace environment.
·        Software development/management experience.

Global Financial Firm located in Jersey City, NJ has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Project Lead/BA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Producing functional and technical specifications • Documenting end-to-end process flow. • Interpret business rules and providing feedback on Technical feasibility • Product / Application evaluation and comparison on features • Validation of System Functionality and data • Assisting in the review of all existing test cases/procedures, as needed • Data Analysis, validation and reconciliation • Tracking defects, Determine the root causes and coordinating between various teams to get those resolved.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
• Advise Client and PM on technical aspects of project (all phases) • Play role of liaison during UAT testing ANALYTICAL SKILLS Create test scripts, including specific test cases and expected results Verify functional integrity of system design Participate in the identification and resolution of complex production support issues • Partner with development team to provide insight into root causes Manage changes to baseline requirements through a change control processes Maintain requirements traceability information throughout each project Manage the creation of flow diagrams, structured charts, and other types of system or process representations use of query tools to confirm data quality and investigate questions use of design tools to create mock screens and prototypes
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
• Involved with day-to-day discussions of project issues / interact with PM and team members • Make strategic recommendations to PM • Act as PM delegate as necessary Provide general direction and business understanding for project team(s) Creation of artifacts required in PTS-W. Manage issues lists, including minutes from business and technical design meetings. Communicate (written and oral) information between the business and technologists Design and delivery of presentations Gather business and functional requirements and sign-offs. Assist PM with project management
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer / Information Systems. Master's degree preferred. • At least 7 years of total professional experience • At least 5 years experience in the Enterprise Banking and Financial applications, which must include Billing / Pricing applications. • Experience with projects involving SDLC methodologies • Ability to articulate business requirements and perform Business Process Analysis. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project. • Very strong oral and written communication skills. • Customer service focus • Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional team with members from multiple vendors (in addition to Client team members in Technology, Product and Operations) and working on applications built on vendor products. • Robust analytical and problem solving skills • Proven teamwork, interpersonal and follow-up skills • Attention to detail and the ability to understand the `bigger picture`
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills • Proven record of taking initiative at driving results • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize • Experience in System testing • Database skills – understanding of a database driven application. growing global company is seeking a talented and motivated senior WAN network engineer to join its Global Backbone Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that is responsible for planning, designing, engineering, and supporting an advanced carrier class WAN environment in an enterprise setting. This fast-paced environment will challenge your knowledge of BGP, MPLS, QoS, Multicast, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS/XR, JunoOS, and other complex network technologies. In this role, you will be an important member of a critical team for our firm. * Primary responsibility to design, build, and support the next generation global backbone infrastructure * Act as an subject matter expert (SME) and also provide 3rd level support for Backbone related incidents * Proactively monitor and measure the overall infrastructure performance and recommend/drive the necessary corrective measures if needed * Evaluate and test new technologies and offerings from various vendors and make recommendations * Develop and publish network design templates and other documentation for use by implementation (and other support) teams Qualifications * Minimum of 7 years experience ideally working in a carrier network or in a large enterprise network in a design, engineering, or architecture role * Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and RIP * Hands-on experience with Cisco CRS-1, 7600, 6500, 7200, * Strong knowledge of carrier technologies such as SONET, SDH, DWDM, and Ethernet services as well as the ability to work with carriers for troubleshooting purposes * Strong understanding of MPLS technologies such as L3 VPN, L2 VPN, and any combination of at least two of the following: VPLS, MPLS QoS, MPLS TE and mVPN * Hands-on experience with traffic monitoring and management toolkit, NBAR, NetFlow, SFlow * Strong understanding and hands on experience of multicast technologies such as PIM Sparse mode, PIM Dense mode, and PIM SSM * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
