Folks,

For those of you who know my current background, I am spending time with the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce as the Chairmen of the Work Local First Program. This program developed over two years ago, provides professionals in transition the ability to network with businesses, not for profits etc., in the Hudson Valley Region.

Please do not let the name or location mislead you. The Chamber has recently consolidated with another major chamber which has increased its membership greatly. Not all members are located in the Hudson Valley area either. For a fee of $100 you can join this Chamber and participate in networking events in which the majority of them are free to its members.

Please feel free to contact me directly for any additional information. I urge you to reach out to the chambers in your area and ask them if they would start such a program. I would be happy to talk to them about it.

Regards,

Rob
