| Director of Application Services Position - New York City Area Director Application Services is responsible for application development, quality assurance and application support of the environment. The application portfolio includes custom and package applications, as well as third party hosted solutions, that employ various technologies and practices to all of business units. The Director provides oversight to enterprise data warehouse strategy and implementation and participates on the IT Architectural Board to drive the overall technology direction for IT. * Manage the maintenance, support and development of all applications including data warehouse * Act as first point of contact for senior leadership regarding all applications and enterprise data warehouse * Establish policies and procedures for acquiring, developing, maintaining and supporting all applications * Manage relationships with key business partners providing mission critical solutions * Guide business units in the development of application strategy * Participate on the IT Leadership Team to drive the overall direction of the department * Provide administrative oversight, controls and supports to the development, testing and support disciplines through the day-to-day management of staff * Manage Application Services budget Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education * Five (5) to Seven (7) years of management experience in application development and/or support * Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience with data warehouse technologies and solutions * Knowledge of data warehouse technologies * Knowledge of development and quality assurance methodologies and practices *Expectations may be subject to change as the needs of the organization changes.
