Data Support Analyst

Our Client in Jersey City is looking for a Data Support Analyst for a full
time Permanent position.

The role is fully technical with administration and data configuration as
part of the job.

All systems/data/customer problems must be resolved quickly and efficiently.
Training will be given to the right candidate, onsite and offsite registered
courses. Punctuality is essential for opening checks at 07:00; multiple
shifts are run between 07:00 and 18:00 and flexibility in working hours is
also essential.

JOB TITLE
Data Support Analyst

MAIN DUTIES
Supporting Data/Data Flow
Supporting Unix/NT machines
Diagnosing/Fault Finding Data/System problems
Liasing with customers to resolve data/system problems
Configuring/formatting Data for external viewing
Upgrading/patching/installing all system types
Liasing with New York and Tokyo to resolve
customer/system/installation/production problems
Any other work that the Manager dictates

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES
Previous experience with Reuters Triarch/RMDS backbone is essential,
including configuration experience (e.g., source distributors, P2PS's,
MarketLink IPs, and BGDs).
Good Unix/Solaris knowledge
Good 2003/XP knowledge
Proxy/Domain/Web aware
Strong technical ability
Excellent communication skills
Close attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Networking knowledge
Knowledge of on eor more market sectors (e.g., Fixed income, Equities,
Interest Rate Swaps) would be a benefit but is not essential
Familiarity with Market feed/Reuters/Bloomberg data is desirable

have at least a BS in Accounting or Finance. This position reports to the
CFO. Ideal candidate is a self-starter able to accomplish the functional
duties and responsibilities of the job, including working with the funds
outside administrator to maintain the partnership accounting records,
distributions, preparation of financial reporting and analytical analysis
and decision making. The position also includes the responsibility of

AVP, Project Management

Objective: Governance and Program Management of client's Outsourcing and
Offshoring Initiatives

Functional Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities for the position
include:

. Working on projects related to Outsourcing and Offshoring
Governance, Transitions, Process Integration and Contract Compliance

. Conducting monthly and quarterly governance meetings with
vendors and MIT stakeholders to review performance of outsourcing
engagements. Lead the collection, analysis and reporting of metrics, SLA's,
CSAT Scores and KPI data related to performance of outsourced work.

. Ownership of contract administration and vendor Statement of
Work (SOW) process including but not limited to providing subject matter
expertise during the SOW creation process, review of SOW's for compliance
with Master Services Agreement (MSA) and ensuring SOW coverage for all
outsourced staff.

. Assist MIT managers with: implementing client's sourcing
strategy as it relates to transition methodology; developing processes and
templates; training and education on outsourcing processes; baselining SLA
data and setting performance measurement criteria for engagements.

. Process improvement and enforcement of control points in
vendor management areas such as Demand Forecasting, Pipeline Management and
onboarding

. Working with client project teams and vendors to integrate
MIT's Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and vendor's delivery
methodology

. Vendor oversight management including but not limited to
contract compliance, risk management and financial tracking

. Actively manage Stakeholders expectations. Drive project teams
to make decisions in a timely manner in order to deliver project as to
agreed schedule and within budget.

. Identify and lead topics of issue resolution, risk mitigation,
change management and dependency management. Ensure processes are well
defined where ambiguity exists.

. Provide thought leadership and innovation to create and
enhance overall value in the Outsourcing and Offshoring space within client

. 'Lead by example'. Build a reputation as part of the
'Management Team', a positive problem solver, who collaborates in a
constructive manner to create iterative improvements for operational
efficiencies within the position, project team,

Scope/Supervision and Interaction

. Directly responsible to 'Organizational Manager'. Will have
responsibilities on the Organizational team outside of the assigned project.

. Promotes interaction within the project team, including
Business Executives and End Users plus other MCO departments or
organizations in order to deliver project. Promotes interaction with
members of the Organizational team.

Qualifications

Minimum education and work experience required for position includes:

. 10+ years progressive & extensive vendor management and
project management work experience in Financial Services industry.

. BA or BS or equivalent, Masters preferred.

Key Competencies

. Solid and demonstrated understanding of the Project Lifecycle
and its inherent responsibilities such as estimation, funding, development,
QA, budget responsibilities, risk mitigation and project metrics. Proven
ability and reputation to lead a project team from concept to completion.

. Proven experience in leading and managing multiple projects
with multiple internal and external dependencies, complex or multiple
scopes, a higher level of risk requiring mitigation plans and multiple
integration points with some external integration. Project Budgets ($5M)

. Customer Focus in delivering solutions. Ability to balance
Stakeholder expectations with project deliverables. Ability to lead
facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal or inter-team conflict
sessions.

. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to present project status to various levels of personnel. Excellent
use of Microsoft Office applications to enhance project artifacts for client
Governance processes such as metric and status reports.

. The ability to understand the importance of following client
Governance processes and methodologies and driving the team to do so, even
if receiving negative pushback; ensure the capture and maintenance of
metrics for reporting within a project, resource and development tools.
Ability to analyze and provide comprehensive commentary on project metrics.

. Proven ability to multi-task and 'manage up' in a complex
environment, with changing priorities.

. Strong & proven positive leadership skills in words, actions,
results. Coach and encourage others to lead. Embrace, lead, plan and
execute changes and operational efficiencies within the position, team or
client context.

. Ability to follow and execute directives of Project and/or
Organizational Manager; anticipating the needs of the manager and of the
team. Provide solutions. Own and executing those solutions.

. Ability to set direction and delegate, then follow up as
necessary to ensure team meets project deliverables.
