The CIO tasked me with building a new group he's calling "Technology
Planning" which includes these new positions:
- PMO Director
- 2 Program Managers
- 4 Senior Business Systems Analysts with subject matter expertise of:
- 1 Manufacturing, 1 Supply Chain, 1 HR, 1 Sales & Marketing.
Top priority is for the Director, PMO and the Business Systems Analysts who
will report directly to the CIO until the PMO Director is hired which is why
I'm reaching out to you. I realize that it's highly unlikely that you are
interested in relocating but I wanted to cast a wide net in the hopes that
you may know someone who would want to move here. Half of the 12 we've
hired so far are relocating. The relocation package is solid, salaries and
benefits are excellent (over $100k for BAs plus a bonus for example), cost
of living is low, weather is great and the Triad area has a much larger
business community than I perceived before I got here.
One thing that I've learned over the past several months is that the CIO
sets a high standard and looks for people who really know what they are
talking about and get things done. I sat in on his last interview with a
candidate for Manager, Service Desk and when she was able to respond without
hesitation, and in great detail, to every question he asked he told me not
to let her leave the building without an offer in hand that she couldn't
refuse. I did and she didn't.
I've also learned that a lot of candidates will approach me but in the end
they aren't really in a position to relocate for one reason or another,
usually related to house or family issues that anchor them where they are
today.
If anyone you know is the kind of person who would "wow" the CIO and would
be seriously interested and able to relocate they are welcome to call me at
336-631-4058 or email me at <mailto:ken@berkshirerecruiting.com >
ken@berkshirerecruiting.com .
P.S. The CIO also assigned other new positions to me in the development and
infrastructure groups - Engineering Software Developer (TeamCenter), Oracle
DBA, Network Engineer, Security Analyst and JDE Application Support in case
you know anyone with those skills who wants to move to Winston Salem.
Regards,
Ken Ferguson
